contest in 1996, which eventually led to her contract with Elite Model

signed her to the advertising campaign. The company that launched the

Alyson Hannigan

Alyson Hannigan

Name : Alyson Hannigan

Birth Date : March 24, 1974

Birth Place : Washington D.C. USA

Birth Name : Alyson Lee Hannigan

Nick name : Allycat

Height : 5' 6

Profession : Actress

Spouse : Alexis Denisof (11 October 2003 - present)

With the unconventional good looks and quirky persona that shout Leading
Character Actress, Alyson Hannigan made a name for herself on the WB series
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As Buffy's confidant Willow Rosenberg, the actress
endeared herself to a legion of fans and then won over film audiences
everywhere with her scene-stealing turn as geeky flutist Michelle in the
1999 summer smash American Pie. Born March 24, 1974, in Washington, D.C.,
Hannigan became a TV commercial veteran following her family's move to
Atlanta. From the age of four, Hannigan appeared in a steady stream of
commercials, including ones for Oreo and McDonald's. At the age of 11, she
moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. She made her
big-screen debut in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien, as Dan
Aykroyd's daughter. The following year, she won a regular spot on the
short-lived sitcom Free Spirit and acted in a variety of television
miniseries and sitcoms (including Roseanne and Picket Fences) until 1997,
when she won the part of Willow on Buffy.

The show proved to be an unexpected success among critics and viewers
alike, and paved the way for Hannigan to appear opposite Tom Everett Scott
in the 1998 comedy Dead Man on Campus. American Pie followed the next year,
giving Hannigan wider recognition and making her an unintentional poster
child for band camps everywhere. A small stint in the Jason Biggs/Freddie
Prinze Jr. flop Boys and Girls (2000) did little to further her career, but
thanks to a beefed-up part from writer Adam Herz, Hannigan found herself
revisiting the sexually advanced but socially backward Michelle in 2001's
high-profile sequel American Pie 2. Though critics were mixed on the
franchise's sophomore offering, they praised Hannigan's ability to fully
flesh out a character who essentially served as an elaborate punch line in
the first film.

Amerie

Amerie

Name : Amerie

Date of birth : January 12, 1980

Place of birth : Fitchburg, Massachusetts, USA

Birth name : Amerie Marie Mi Rogers

Height : 5' 5

Amerie Rogers (born January 12, 1980 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts), known
professionally as Amerie, is an American Grammy Award-nominated R&B
singer/songwriter. She is signed to Sony Urban/Columbia Records.

Rogers was born to an African-American father and South Korean mother. As
a result of her father being in the United States military, Amerie traveled
to and lived in many different places, including Alaska, Texas, Germany and
South Korea. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2000 with a degree
in English and Fine Arts. She considers Washington D.C. to be her home and
has a younger sister named Angela. Amerie and her sister Angela's first
language is Korean.

Throughout early 2002, Amerie's single, "Why Don't We Fall In Love", from
her debut album All I Have received much urban radio airplay. Producer Rich
Harrison wrote and produced All I Have in its entirety, except for the
"Outro" which Amerie co-wrote. Amerie's album was released amid the success
of her "Why Don't We Fall In Love" single, and the media immediately began
to judge her successes against those of other recent female R&B artists such
as Tweet and Ashanti.

The album's next single, "Talkin' To Me", did not hit nearly as big at
urban radio, yet its video still enjoyed strong support from MTV2. VH1 Soul
has been known to play both of Amerie's videos with regularity since their
debuts, and MTV Jams still occasionally spins "Why Don't We Fall In Love".

Amerie returned to the music scene briefly in 2003 as a featured
vocalist, first on LL Cool J's "Paradise" (Which got to #18 on the UK
Charts) and later on DJ Kay Slay's "Too Much For Me". Neither single,
although their videos received a lot of attention from digital music video
channels. In fall 2003 she continued solo and released a cover of the Diana
Ross classic "I'm Coming Out" as a single to the Maid In Manhattan movie.

Around this time Amerie also spent some time as the host of a brand new
show on BET called The Center, Amerie left the show before her contract was
up because she had been offered a movie role.

On April 26, 2005 Amerie released her sophomore album Touch. Once again
the album was primarily produced by mentor Rich Harrison, who contributed
seven (new) tracks to the record; additional productions came from Lil' Jon,
Bryce Wilson, Red Spyda and Dre & Vidal. It debuted and peaked at #5 on the
Billboard 200 and #3 on the Top R&B/Hp-Hop Albums chart, even overtopping
the success of All I Have with its Gold status (500,000 copies) so far.

Along with Touch Amerie's biggest hit came with the first single "1
Thing". The track was also featured on the soundtrack to Hitch, a romantic
comedy film. Producer Rich Harrison sampled the distinctive main
drum-and-guitar loops of the song from a 1970 version of "Oh, Calcutta!" by
funk group The Meters. The song was later certified Platinum (200,000+
downloads) and became her first top ten hit, it peaked at #8 at the Bilboard
Hot 100 chart and #1 on the R&B charts. That song became her first #1 hit of
her career. On August 2005, the album Touch was certifed GOLD by the RIAA.
Amerie is signed to Ford Models, Inc.

"1 Thing" earned two MTV Video Music Award nominations for Best Female
Video of the Year and Best Choreography in A Video. The single also earned 4
Lady Of Soul Soul Train Award nominations [1], for Best R&B/Soul Single
Solo, R&B/Soul or Rap Song of the Year, Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video and
Best R&B/Soul or Rap Dance Cut. At the 2005 Vibe Awards, Amerie took home
Club Banger of the Year for her hit. "1 Thing" also spawned into a variety
of remixes by rappers such as Eve, Fabolous, and Jay-Z.Later that same year,
Amerie received 2 Grammy Award nominations for her album Touch

In 2004, Amerie made her motion picture debut in the romantic comedy
First Daughter alongside Michael Keaton, Katie Holmes, Lela Rochon and Marc

She began her career at the age of 7 when she auditioned for a role in a
child singing group. The group was made up of her, Latavia Roberson,
Beyonce's cousin, Kelly Rowland and LeToya Luckett. Her musical influences
include, The Supremes, Jackson 5. She and the other members of her group
started off small, doing local events but got their break when performing on
Star Search. Their young energy and sound was a revelation for Hip Hop/ R&B
music during the 90's. Soon after that Destiny's Child got it's formal name
and started doing bigger gigs and were the opening act for other groups like
SWV, Dru Hill and Immature. They released their self titled album in 1998
and Beyonce was the cornerstone in the group. Working out most of the lyrics
and sound for the new group. She was the dominent lead singer in the group
and no one could dispute.

Beyonce was responsible for most of the lyrics for hit songs, NO, NO, NO,
BILLS, BILLS, BILLs and many of their other top 10 hits. In March of 2000
LeToya and Latavia left Destiny's Child because Beyonce and Matthew Knowles
were causing them distress and not giving them the freedom to develop as
artists on their own and contribute. Two replacements, Michelle Williams and
Farrah Franklin were hired to take their place and keep the band going.
Beyonce got her first big film break in the Austin Powers: In Goldmember.
Besides that her recent song, Survivor with Destiny's Child has cemented her
superstardom. She will most likely be appearing in other Hollywood
productions and will continue to perform her music.

The sexy first single, "Crazy In Love," featuring Jay-Z, was co-produced
by Beyonce and Rich Harrison. Jay-Z returns the favor for Beyonce's part on
his hit "Bonnie and Clyde 03." Laced with an Arabic ambience, fused with a
ghetto-fied edge and encompassing a sample from Donna Summer's "Love to Love
You Baby," "Naughty Girl" is uptempo and party perfect. Also sexy is the
dancehall-Arabic flavored "Baby Boy," featuring the red hot Sean Paul. She
co-stars with Cuba Gooding Jr. in "The Fighting Temptations." She has two
more features currently in production and can also be seen on the small
screen in a series of Spike Lee-directed commercials for Pepsi-Cola. She is
also the spokesperson for L'Oreal.

Bridget Moynahan

Bridget Moynahan

Name : Bridget Moynahan

Birth Date : September 21, 1972

Birth Place : Binghampton, New York, USA

Birth Name : Kathryn Bridget Moynahan

Nationality : American

Profession : Actress

Kathryn Bridget Moynahan was born in Binghamton, New York, on September
21, 1972, and raised primarily in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. As a child she
was a self-professed tomboy, excelling at sports. In high school she was the
captain of her basketball team and chose to play soccer instead of attending
drama class. As fate would have it, though, drama crept into her life as the
years passed. Upon graduating from Longmeadow High School, Moynahan moved to
New York City in pursuit of fame. She gave herself three years to find
success, after which point she would reassess her life and perhaps go back
to school. This proved unnecessary when she displayed a knack for modeling.
Throughout the '90s she appeared in many fashion magazines, most notably
Vogue, New Woman and Shape, as well as on the cover of Glamour.

Her magnetic looks and fortuitous placement in New York were both factors
in her winning her first big role in 1999, on HBO's successful series, Sex
and the City. She portrayed Natasha, the woman who marries Mr. Big, on the
show she is referred to as "the idiot stick figure with no soul". The
exposure from her recurring role on Sex and the City led to movie roles. Her
first three films were the indie flicks Whipped (starring Amanda Peet),
Trifling with Fate and In the Weeds, all released in 2000. While not huge
draws critically and financially, they were excellent experience for
Moynahan's fast-approaching arrival in the spotlight.

Bridget Moynahan became a star thanks to her portrayal of Rachel, the
fire-breathing barmaid in 2000's chick flick, Coyote Ugly. The film was a
huge success, despite poor reviews, and it brought a great deal of attention
to the female-filled cast. In 2001, Moynahan appeared as "the other woman"
in the romantic comedy Serendipity, starring John Cusack and Kate
Beckinsale. That same year, Moynahan decided to challenge herself and
auditioned for the "Tom Clancy" thriller, The Sum of All Fears. She was
amazed and elated to find herself reading lines with Ben Affleck two weeks
later. As CIA agent Jack Ryan's fiancée, Moynahan proved to be a wonderful
presence as the film's only female character. It went to number one at the
box office upon its summer 2002 release.

Her star continued to rise with 2003's The Recruit, co-starring Colin
Farrell and screen legend Al Pacino. She continues to live primarily in New
York and is romantically linked to Scott Rosenberg, the screenwriter behind
Beautiful Girls. She is currently at work on two more films: Hating Her,
co-starring Selma Blair, and I, Robot, with Will Smith, are slated for a
July 2004 release. Despite the exciting Hollywood life she leads, Moynahan
admits to a real-life love for knitting.

Brooke Burke

Brooke Burke

Name : Brooke Burke

Occupation : Actress/Model

Date of Birth : September 8, 1971

Place of Birth : Hartford, Connecticut, USA

Marital Status : Married - Garth Fisher (Plastic Surgeon)

Born September 8, 1971 in Hartford, Connecticut, Brooke Burke has had a
sort of late bloomer success by Hollywood standards. The past few years have
seen her celebrity stock rise greatly thanks in large part to hosting E!'s
popular 'Wild On' series, but more so her decision to bare all in a fully
nude Playboy spread. Brooke's unique and exotic look comes from her
multi-ethnic background which includes a French/Irish heritage on her father
George's side, and Portuguese/Irish heritage on her mother Donna's side.
Brooke was the youngest of four daughters and older than her three brothers.

While little is known about Brooke's parents, it appears likely that they
divorced as her biological father left the family when Brooke was just two
years old. After moving to Tucson, Arizona, Donna found new love with Armen
Hartounian, who helped raise the abandoned children. Donna worked three jobs
to support the family. Brooke's aspirations weren't a career in modeling,
but when she accompanied a friend to a modeling agency in Scottsdale,
Arizona, she was discovered by a talent scout who happened to be there.
Brooke took that modeling opportunity to jump fully into the entertainment
field, enrolling at UCLA to study broadcast journalism and business
advertising after a move to Los Angeles. Brooke's early career consisted
mostly of modeling jobs which saw her appearing ondozens of magazine covers,
billboards, swimsuit editorials, catalogs and posters. It was there where
she met close pal Nikki Schieler Ziering, as the two modeled together in
several catalogs and magazines. She branched into commercials as well
appearing in Bally's Total Fitness commercials where she played the
''beautiful body''. Burke also starred in a Discover Card commercial
opposite Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter, where she played his ''dream date.''
Still, these weren't the type of jobs that got her much recognition. That
all changed when she landed a job hosting E!'s 'Wild On'. Many people say
Brooke has the world's best job in hosting ''Wild On,'' a show that sends
Brooke to exotic locations around the world where her job is to party.
Brooke told Chaunce Hayden of the jump from being a swimsuit model to
hosting a television show, ''I actually never thought I would even end up
modeling. I just took advantage of the right opportunities. I actually
didn't envision myself in the entertainment industry at all. Although I
really feel fortunate and it's been such a great ride. I never dreamed about
any of this. It all just sort of happened. The next thing I knew, I was off
to Spain to do my first 'Wild On ... ' show. Soon after, I signed a
three-year deal, and now I'm planning a new show as well. Everything has
just fallen into place.'' The new show Brooke was discussing is 'Rank', a
show that covers everything that is hip, hot and cool in movies, television
and pop culture. As for Brooke's personal life, she managed to hook up with
a plastic surgeon named Garth Fisher, whom she married in 2001. The couple
had a child before the marriage in 2000, a daughter named Neriah, who was
named after her friend Neriah Davis. Brooke just gave birth to a second baby
daughter named Sierra Sky Fisher on April 2, 2002. Living in Los Angeles as
a model and dating a plastic surgeon comes in handy. During a chat with
Playboy fans online, Brooke tersely responded when asked if her breasts were
real: ''Do they look real?'' When pressed further on being cosmetically
enhanced, Brooke fired back bluntly, ''Yes, and I don't know a swimsuit
model in LA who's not.'' Brooke's choice to marry a non-celebrity was no
accident either, as she recently revealed, ''I never would even want to date
a celebrity. (Laughs) I've been very lucky in love. I couldn't find anyone
better than who I have.'' Part of that luck revolves around the normalcy the
two share despite their busy schedules, ''He's a doctor who puts in 12-hour
days, so he knows what it's like to sacrifice and devote 100 percent into a
career. So he's very supportive of me.'' One might question whether they
could have a normal life with both having such busy schedules, but Brooke
insists, ''We're a very normal family. He's mister stable and I'm the
adventurer. It's a good balance.'' Brooke recently saw herself embroiled in
a bit of a controversy as a sex tape purporting to be her has been floating
around the internet. It shows a fully naked woman engaging in an intense
masturbation session with a gigantic dildo. The video clip bears such a
striking resemblance to Brooke that the New York Post investigated the story
and spoke with the publicist for Brooke who insisted, ''I know Brooke, and
that is definitely not her. But I am a little upset that someone is sending
this around and saying it is.''

Bryce Dallas

Bryce Dallas Howard

Name : Bryce Dallas Howard

Date of birth : 2 March 1981

Place of birth : Dallas, Texas, USA

Birth name : Bryce Dallas Howard

Nickname : Bry

Height : 5' 8

As the daughter of Oscar-winning director Ron Howard (“Beautiful Mind”,
“Apollo 13”), it would have been easy for Bryce Dallas Howard to become a
successful actress. Her father would no doubt have done all he could to
assure his daughter’s success. Determined to make it on her own, however,
Howard opted not to use her father’s influence in her rise to stardom and
instead chose to pursue acting on her own terms. For Howard, success—or
failure—rested squarely on her own shoulders.

Born to Ron and Cheryl Howard, the actress spent her youth growing up in
scenic, but stodgy Connecticut. At 17, she was accepted into the drama
program at the esteemed Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In
keeping with her conviction to pursue acting on her own, Howard enrolled as
Bryce Dallas, dropping her famed last name to eschew special treatment. Her
first play, House Garden, by accomplished director Alan Ayckbourn,
challenged the young actress. As two plays—one House, the other
Garden—performed simultaneously on adjacent stages, the actors had to move
between sets in the telling of two different, yet similarly-themed stories.
Though the play received mixed reviews, Howard was noted for her ‘shining’
performance.

Subsequent theater work helped Howard hone her already exceptional
talents, including roles in Thornton Wilder’s Our Town and Tartuffe, French
dramatist Molière’s masterpiece. Howard then made her film debut in the
independent drama “Book of Love” (2004), by director Alan Brown. Though
never released, “Book of Love” premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
Meanwhile, she returned to the stage, playing Rosalind in Shakespeare’s As
You Like It. It was during this critically acclaimed performance that
Howard’s career took a giant leap, as she was discovered by one of
Hollywood’s most prominent directors.

On the advice of big time producer Scott Rudin, director M. Night
Shyamalan (“Sixth Sense”, “Unbreakable”) went to see Howard in As You Like
It and was immediately taken by her performance. When Kirsten Dunst, who was
previously attached to star in “The Village” (2004), dropped out, Shyamalan
offered the unknown Howard the part. She starred alongside such Hollywood
heavyweights as Joaquin Phoenix, William Hurt and Sigourney Weaver in the
period thriller about an isolated 19th Century village cut off from the rest
of the world. Once again, Howard was lauded for her performance as Ivy
Walker, a mesmerizing young blind woman with an unusual wisdom beyond her
years. To bolster her Hollywood arrival, Howard was cast in Lars Von Trier’s
“Manderlay” (2004), the second in the director’s trilogy “U, S and A”. As
with “The Village”, Howard was cast to replace a previously attached star—in
this case, she took over for Nicole Kidman. In a short time, Howard has gone
from virtual unknown to hot commodity entirely on her own terms.

Cameron Diaz was sixteen when she got her big break in life. She was at a
Hollywood party when she ended up speaking to, and eventually dating, a
fashion photographer who landed her a modelling contract with the Elite
Modelling Agency within a week of knowing her. She went to Japan with
another young model (15) to further her modelling career shortly
afterwards. For five years afterwards she travelled from country to country
and fashion capital to fashion capital. From Paris to Morocco to Milan and
even to Australia and eventually hooked up with boyfriend Carlos De La Torre
whom she stayed with for five years in a Hollywood apartment.

By the time she landed herself a role in the film The Mask, starring
comedian Jim Carrey, she was already an accomplished actress appearing in
commercials for Calvin Klein, Levi's, and Coca-Cola as well as being on
magazines such as Seventeen and Mademoiselle. She was 21 and had much
experience in the modelling world. However, she had begun to feel that there
was more in her future than just modelling and she eventually decided to
turn from modelling to acting. She initially got a small role in the movie
but got bored “practising with the choreographer so that he knows the steps
he gonna teach the real girl who gets the job? The director, Charles
Russell, who realised what she felt, managed to convince the producers at
New Line Cinema to give her the female lead role and so she launched her
acting career.A month into the production of the movie she discovered the
scale of the movie and got an ulcer realising the pressure set upon her
according to the success of the motion picture. After this experience, and a
case where she injured herself in training for the film Mortal Kombat,
studios became wary of taking her on and so fate would have it that she
returned to the world of big time modelling and independent films.

She gained a role in the movie the Last Supper?in 1995 saying she decided
to do so to gain experience working with other actors seeing as how she had
little experience. In 1996 she earned roles in Feeling Minnesota and She The
One along side big stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Aniston and in the film
lead Above Water? She doesn fail to show off her model figure in most of
these films and they are all worth a view. She was named N.A.T.O. female
star of tomorrow in that year and now with experience in several films she
has a growing following of fans.Since then she has starred in My Best Friend
Wedding along side Julia Roberts, A Live Less Ordinary with Trainspotting
star Ewan McGregor, and most recently There Something About Mary along side
long time boyfriend, Matt Dillon. Rumour would have it the two have now
broken up but reports are vague.Soon she will appear again on the big screen
in the films hear And Loathing In Las Vegas?and an Any Given Sunday? Her
latest film, Very Bad things, is out in the States at the moment and will be
coming out soon across Europe.

Catherine began acting at age 11, playing in a production of Annie and at
13 she starred in a West End production of the musical Bugsy Malone. When
Catherine was 16 she took over the lead in David Merrick's 42nd Street. Her
first regular television role came in the nostalgic British TV series The
Darling Buds of May.

While the U.S. audience was unaware of her work, Catherine was rapidly
becoming a star in the UK. In fact, with the popularity of The Darling,
Catherine became a mega-star in the UK. Coupled with her role in the
four-hour television docu-drama Titanic, Catherine got some attention in the
United States. Most importantly, she was noticed by Steven Spielberg, who
recommended Catherine for the female lead The Mask of Zorro. She followed up
this strong Hollywood debut (which this is now considered despite her
appearance in 1986's The Phantom) with the equally successful Entrapment
with Sean Connery. Now it seems like everyone knows who Catherine Zeta-Jones
is, and will for a good long while if her box-office is any indicator.

She grew up in a small town called Benoni and was a member of the tribe
South Soho. She was born a single child in a very wealthy family. She
learned many of the 28, (twenty-eight!) languages she speaks from the staff
on her parents' farm. When she was 6, Charlize showed her first signs of
what would be her stardom. She began ballet and considered doing this for a
career. She continued dancing and would eventually go professional in
Johannesburg. At the age of 16 she took an offer to begin modelling in
Milan, Italy, because she'd won a local modeling contest. She was not
content with the way she was viewed as a model, so on the last day of
shooting under her current contract in New York City, she decided she
wouldn't return to Milan. Instead she began dancing with the Joffrey school
in New York, returning to her first love. At 18, she suffered a ballet
ending injury. And her carreer ended in this field.

She bought a ticket to Hollywood and grabbed a role in "2 Days In the
Valley" and quickly lost her South African accent. She's slowly battled her
way up through Hollywood ranks to the title of "starring actress" with roles
in "The Cider House Rules", "The Astronaut's Wife", "Mighty Joe Young", and
more. She's had roles in tons of the great movies of this and the past
decade.

Christina Milian

Christina Milian

Name : Christina Milian

Birth Date : September 26, 1981

Birth Place : New Jersey

Height : 5' 2

Occupation : Singer, Composer, Musician, Actress

Born on 26th September, 1981 to Cuban-native parents in New Jersey and
raised in Waldorf, Maryland, Christina simply thrived to become the starlet
that she is today. Her career in the spotlight began at a very young age
when she was cast as Annie Warbucks in the theatrical musical rendition of
Annie. Shortly thereafter, Christina made her next big move to the Disney
Channel. No, she wasn't part of that cult-like Mickey Mouse Club that has
somehow spawned today's generation of pop stars, including Britney Spears,
Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.

Actually, she declined an offer from the club altogether. A very bold
move on her part and at such a tender age, we might add. Instead, she worked
as a junior journalist on Disney's Movie Surfers. Apparently, she had her
sights set on bigger and better things. This exposure to the world of
entertainment helped inspire Christina to pursue her acting career even
further. At thirteen years of age, her mother helped her pick up the pace by
bringing her to California. It was there that she was able to take her next
big step by appearing in a flurry of TV sitcoms. This was a huge boost for
Christina as her face was now being seen on shows such as Clueless, Sister,
Sister, Smart Guy, as well as portraying a recurring character on Get Real.

Once she found herself submerged in the small-screen acting scene, she
took an even bigger leap in her career and appeared in the 1999 film The
Wood, and did a voice-over for an animated character in A Bug's Life. During
her stint in California, she also made some prosperous connections in the
music biz. After a meeting with Rodney Jerkins, he inspired her to take a
stab at recording music. Lo and behold, a few years later, after a great
deal of hard work and determination, Christina appeared in Ja Rule's #1
single "Between Me and You." At this point she had fans worldwide sit up and
take notice while wondering to themselves, "Who on earth is she and where
did she come from?" From this point on, it's been all uphill for Christina.

After completing her debut album, she wowed audiences far and wide as the
opening act on *N Sync's stadium tour. Her album was finally released in
October 2001, much to the excitement of her newfound fan base across North
America. With the recent release of Christina Milian, the singer has been
extremely busy with touring and promotional stints. Her first music video to
be released, "A.M. to P.M.," has created buzz for the beauty. It features
Christina as a rebellious teenager who cleverly sneaks out of her house in
the middle of the night in order to hit the dance clubs. Just the type of
outlandish behavior that parents worldwide seem to encourage so
emphatically.

Ciara

Ciara

Name : Ciara

Birth Name : Ciara Princess Harris

Date of Birth : 25 October 1985

Place of Birth : Austin, Texas, USA

Height : 5' 9½''

Nationality : American

Profession : Musician

Claim to Fame : Debut album: Goodies (2004)

Nickname : The First Lady of Crunk; The Princess.

Ciara Princess Harris was born on October 25, 1985, in Austin, Texas.
Ciara's father was a military man, and towed her to his various posts in
Germany, New York, California, Arizona, and Nevada. They finally settled in
Atlanta, capital of the Dirty South, while she was still a little girl. At
first, Ciara wanted to become a model, but her affinity for music made her
think bigger, which her breathy, sexy voice enforced. One day she saw
Destiny's Child perform on TV and decided that that was what she was going
to do. So Ciara wrote down on a piece of paper that she wanted to be a
professional singer, and she wanted it soon. It was no joke. Ciara gave up
movies, cut down on phone time and spent less time with her friends. Ciara
even broke up with her boyfriend. Surprise: she was voted "Most likely to
become famous" in high school.

Ciara joined a girl group called Hearsay that performed in Atlanta, but
it was short-lived. She went solo, quickly grabbing a recording deal (how
could she not?). It all happened very quickly, but Ciara never hesitated. It
was this self-assurance in the 16-year-old that grabbed the attention of
Atlanta producer Jazze Pha, who immediately set out to make her a record
under his Sho' Nuff label. Ciara wasn't just that good. Ciara was good
enough to drop the jaws of R&B master Lil Jon, who pioneered the crunk
genre. In his words: "Crunk & B songs are R&B songs that get you crunk. They
make you wanna wild out."

Lil Jon produced her hit single "Goodies," a song about female
empowerment whose verses ("If you're looking for the goodies keep on looking
'cause they stay in the jar.") tell guys that having bling and a cool posse
aren't enough to get her into your car. Other songs on Ciara's debut album
bounce with confident messages, dealing with real-life issues and giving a
voice to young girls. And with only three years in the music biz, Ciara has
lots of star power to her credit. Missy Elliott, Petey Pablo and Ludacris
lend their voices to some tracks, and R. Kelly wrote "Next To You" for her.
But she doesn't let her guests overshadow her own voice. "They spice a
record; they add a little seasoning to it. I'm the dressing, and they put a
little gravy on it," Ciara says.

big time actress, and the only thing holding her up is time. There are two
more movies in the wings for Denise, which will both be released in 1999.
Dairy Queens looks like it will be very promising, about beauty queens
fighting for the title in Missouri.

Starship Troopers was Denise's first major film. The film itself was
troubled by an expanding budget, film delays, and a poor release date. While
it did well in the box office, the profits were not super. There is talks
for a part 2...hopefully Denise will return as Ms. Ibanez if they choose to
do it.Exposure to the media has grown for Denise over the last year. She has
appeared on almost all the major entertainment shows, including

Claim to fame : as Lauren in A Little Romance (1979)

Diane Lane was born in New York City on January 22, 1965, to acting coach
father Burt Lane and nightclub singer/centerfold Colleen Farrington. With
those two for parents, it was almost genetically inevitable that Diane would
possess a mix of acting ability, stunning good looks, and smoldering
sexuality. The acting ability came almost as soon as she was born, and by
age six Diane had made her stage debut in acclaimed theater director Andrei
Serbian's Medea. Her performance so captivated Serbian that he continued to
cast her in his productions for the next five years. By 1976 her reputation
as a talented and capable child star landed her in Joseph Papp's productions
of The Cherry Orchard and Agamemnon at the Lincoln Center in New York.
Performing at such a distinguished venue meant that her reviews would be
read throughout the United States, most notably in Hollywood.

Film director George Roy Hill cast young Diane to star opposite Sir
Lawrence Olivier in his 1978 feature film A Little Romance. Despite the
film's critical praise, its box office success was mediocre at best. But
Olivier was very vocal in press interviews about how wonderful an actress
his young co-star was. He even went so far as to call her the new Grace
Kelly. Eventually, all of this media hype placed Diane on the cover of Time
in August of 1979 at the age of fourteen. Expectations were running high for
Diane's follow-up projects and none of them lived up to their promise.
Touched by Love (1980), Cattle Annie and Little Britches (1981), National
Lampoon Goes to the Movies (1981), Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains
(1981), and Six Pack (1982) were all box-office duds.

With the shine of her star fading, Diane began to take on roles with
smaller paychecks and bigger opportunities to grow as an actor. Roles in two
Francis Ford Coppola movies, Rumble Fish (1983) and The Outsiders (1983),
proved that Diane was more than capable of taking on adult roles, and once
again she was extremely hot property. Coppola even admitted to always having
had a crush on her, even when she was a young actress. With studio
executives falling over themselves to offer her a multiple-picture deal, she
was offered the lead role in three big budget Hollywood epics. Perhaps
trying to exercise some of the judgment she lacked as a child actor, she
passed on the first picture. On paper, the movie seemed destined for
failure: "a mermaid out of water story" starring an unknown TV actor. Sadly
for Diane, the movie was the blockbuster success Splash and the actor she
passed on was Tom Hanks. The movies she did accept were Streets of Fire
(1984) and The Cotton Club (1984), both high-budget, high-profile failures.
Diane spent the next three years in a self-imposed exile from acting, making
her return in the little-known picture, The Big Town (1987). The film served
as the formal beginning of her comeback, but it wasn't until 1989's Lonesome
Dove that America welcomed her back as a star.

Desperate to avoid falling from grace again, Diane carefully selected
smaller roles in "safe" films like 1992's Chaplin and 1993's Indian Summer.
Since 1995, Diane began working in a series of big budget, high-profile
films, such as Judge Dredd (1995), the Robin Williams vehicle Jack (in 1996,
and incidentally directed by Francis Ford Coppola), and Murder at 1600
(1997). Though the films were all reasonably successful, none of them turned
Diane into a household name. The string of films that has helped turn Diane
into a major star began with her Spirit Award winning performance of a
frustrated and adulterous 1960s housewife in A Walk on the Moon (1999). That
role may have won her the industry acclaim, but it was her role in the $600
million plus grossing blockbuster A Perfect Storm, which brought her back to
the public eye.

Since the runaway success of that film, Diane has put forth starring
efforts in The Glass House (2001) and the box-office hit Hardball, which
both opened on the same day, in 2001. Despite the success of those two
films, it has been her role in the sexy thriller Unfaithful (2002) that
looks to be the defining moment of her career. The film was tops at the box
office and there are rumblings about a possible Oscar nomination for Lane's
turn as Richard Gere's cheating wife. It seems that after twenty years of
stop-and-go success, Diane Lane is finally fulfilling the starry prophecy
that Time laid out for her back in August of 1979. As for her personal life,
she has a daughter, Eleanor, with her ex-husband, actor Christopher Lambert.

Nationality : Canadian

Profession : Actress

Height : 5'6

Famous for : TV series

A former child star whose flame continued to burn bright into her teen
years, blonde beauty Elisha Cuthbert has successfully carried the success
from Popular Mechanics for Kids and Are You Afraid of the Dark? into a
featured role on the hit FOX series 24 and a successful film career. A
Calgary native who landed her first modeling job at the tender age of seven,
it was a mere four years later that Cuthbert instinctively knew that she
wanted to spend the rest of her days in front of the lens. Following an
appearance in the 1997 feature Dancing on the Moon, Cuthbert landed a job as
a field correspondent for the acclaimed Canadian television series Popular
Mechanics for Kids, and her reporting proved so effective that she caught
the attention of first lady Hillary Clinton, who invited Cuthbert to
Washington for a meeting.

Though she spent the majority of her youth in Montreal, Cuthbert moved to
Los Angeles at age 17 in order to pursue an acting career. Featured roles as
a reluctant pilot in Airspeed (1998) and a time traveling teen in Time at
the Top (1999) were soon to follow, and by the time Cuthbert joined the cast
of Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark? in 1999, it was obvious that
her talent was growing. Her role in the made-for-Canadian-television feature
Lucky Girl only furthered her reputation as a dramatically capable rising
starlet, and her distinct onscreen facial expressions and convincing
performance soon caught the eyes of producers who were preparing a new
thriller series for FOX. Cast as Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland)
damsel-in-distress daughter, Kimberly, in the breakout hit 24, Cuthbert's
character suffered through multiple kidnappings and a mountain lion attack
over the course of the series' first two seasons. In the episode of 24 in
which she shared a scene with the mountain lion, Cuthbert made news when the
beast actually attacked her on the film set, sending the frightened actress
on a trip to the hospital with an injured hand. On the heels of 24, Cuthbert
took a supporting role in the comedy Old School before appearing in the
subsequent romantic comedies Love Actually (2003) and The Girl Next Door
(2004), the latter of which found her taking the lead as an ex-porn star who
becomes the object of affection to a lonely suburban boy unaware of her
past.

Place of Birth : Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

Height : 5' 3

Nationality : American

Claim to Fame : TV Series: Desperate Housewives

Sometimes credited as : Eva Longoria Christopher

Eva Longoria was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended Texas' A&M
University before breaking into T.V. soap operas which includes The Bold and
the Beautiful, General Hospital and Beverly Hills 90210. Gabrielle Solis may
be one of the characters in the popular primetime series Desperate
Housewives, but Eva Longoria, the actress who plays Gabrielle, is far from
desperate. She finally found a more permanent home after being cast in The
Young and the Restless as Isabella. Eva took time to fall in love and later
marry Tyler Christopher, formally of General Hospital. Rumor has it they
have since filed for divorce.

Over 21 million people tuned in for the premiere of Desperate Housewives,
skyrocketing it to the highest ranking new show of it's season. Sexy Eva was
one of the show's stars. Her character, Gabrielle, has everything she ever
wanted but isn't content or happy. A far cry from the actress who plays her.

Eva's humble beginnings started with modeling and beauty pageants in her
home state of Texas. Determination and persistence guided her way to Los
Angeles where acting stepping-stones placed Eva on her career's platform
today. She is happy. Still finding time to indulge in her love of sports,
Eva also participates in organizations which support the advancement of
Latinos. She's won an Alma award and Variety labeled her one of the Ten New
Faces To Watch. She will take part in Maxim's 2005 calendar and can hold her
own on a Salsa Dance floor.

She starred in the movie Carlita's Secret and has credited appearances
under her name from T.V. shows like The Dead Will Tell and Dragnet.
Desperate Housewives may prove to be one of her strongest stepping stones
yet, but chances are that if they prove to be only pebbles, Eva Longoria
will keep on climbing, even if she creates another path.

Height : 5' 7

Marketing; dropped out to persue a career as an actress)

Nationality : American

Profession : Actress

Best Known as : Sexy Cuban-American co-star of Training Day

Eva Mendes, also given credit as Eva Mendez was born in Houston, Texas on
March 5, 1978. He parents are both Cubans, and contributed to an interesting
childhood that saw Eva move to Miami and then Los Angeles, when she was
still a young girl. A fiercely independent actress who refuses to be pressed
into a conventional mode or typecast, Eva Mendez was studying marketing in
the late '90s when an agent stumbled across her photo while perusing
Mendez's neighbor's portfolio. Eva Mendes kicked off her acting career in an
Aerosmith video. The 25-year-old resident of Los Angeles hadn't considered
acting as a career until two and a half years ago, and has never taken an
acting class. As the classic Hollywood story goes, she was discovered
because her neighbour, a photographer, had her photo in his portfolio and it
caught the eye of an agent. Dropping out of school soon after being randomly
discovered by an agent, Mendez appeared in a few made-for-television
productions and hammed it up with Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan in A Night
at the Roxbury before being cast in a prominent role in Urban Legends: Final
Cut. She was thrilled about the opportunity to play a lesbian Latina, but
she is still seeking the role that will challenge her as well as her
viewers. After spending the last part of the 1990s in TV roles, music videos
and small parts in movies such as A Night at Roxbury and Exit Wounds (both
1998), Eva Mendes had a career breakthrough co-starring with Denzel
Washington in Training Day (2001, with Ethan Hawke). Since then she's been
one busy, sexy actor in half a dozen movies, including 2 Fast 2 Furious
(2003, starring Paul Walker), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003, with Antonio
Banderas and Johnny Depp) and Out of Time (2003, also with Denzel
Washington) and Stuck on You (2003, with Matt Damon). Recently Eva played an
FBI agent in Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003). She is writing a children's
book, "Crazy Leggs Beshee." Inspired by her nieces and nephews, she wants to
introduce vocabulary, art, history and values through a medium kids
understand.

Birth Place : Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

Birth Name : Gisele Carolina Nonnenmacher Bündchen

Hair Color : Dark Brown

Eye Color : Blue

Height : 5'11

Nationality : Brazilian

Profession : Model

Agencies : New York - IMG

Gisele Caroline Bundchen was born July 20th, 1980, in Horizontina, Rio
Grande do Sul, Brazil. Gisele is not the only beauty in her family; in fact,
her five other sisters Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, Patricia, and Rafaela are
also aspiring models. A natural phenomenon, Gisele stands tall at 5'11",
with dark blue eyes, a freckled face and wavy brown hair. The road to
becoming today's most sought-after model came by chance for Gisele, after
she was spotted by an Elite Modeling Agency agent while eating a Big Mac at
a Sao Paulo McDonald's with her friends at the age of 14. Despite her
father's disagreement with her career choice, Gisele moved to the city. In
1995, she entered the "Elite Look Modeling Competition", and her career has
taken off ever since. Gisele has since been in campaigns for major fashion
houses such as Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Valentino, Celine,
Gianfranco Ferre, and Chloe. As for magazine covers, she has graced the
covers of Vogue USA, Vogue Italia, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Arena,,
Allure, and she is currently on the cover of the September edition of
Rolling Stone. Gisele left the Elite Modeling Agency and switched to IMG
Model Management not long ago, which was considered to have been a
controversial act. Her Brazilian agent is presently Monica Monteiro.
Surprisingly, Gisele is a big fan of sweet popcorn, candy and McDonald's
sundaes, a vice that does not show on her more than statuesque figure. It is
for this figure that Vogue credited Gisele's work in the fashion industry as
"The Return of the Sexy Model," as her physique marks the end of the
waif-look that Kate Moss made so famous. Nonetheless, Gisele's chest size
has been questioned, but she denies to have had implants. Real or not,
Gisele adamantly refuses to ever fully reveal her breasts, whether for a
fashion show or for a pictorial. One thing is for sure: the only thing fake
about her body is her belly-button piercing and the tattoo she has on the
inside of her left wrist. She has been romantically linked to male model
Scott Barnhill, billionaire Joao-Paulo Diniz and actor Josh Hartnett. Gisele
is currently dating Leonardo DiCaprio. Although she does think that it would
be interesting, she refused a role in the upcoming Charlie's Angels. She
currently earning $7,000 an hour and $5 million a year, Gisele has redefined
the term supermodel and for now, enjoying her reign as the most beautiful
girl in the world.

Gwen Renee Stefani born October 3, 1969 is an American singer and the

Her brother Eric founded No Doubt in 1986 with John Spence, but eventually
left the band to pursue a career on "The Simpsons". Gwen became the group's
lead singer after original frontman John Spence committed suicide in
December of 1987. Following the success of the band's 1995 album Tragic
Kingdom, Stefani became highly popular and recognizable; the tension this
produced with the other members of the band was touched on by their video
for the song "Don't Speak". Many of the album's songs, including "Don't
Speak", were inspired by her relationship and breakup with fellow band
member Tony Kanal. On September 17, 2002, Stefani married Bush guitarist
Gavin Rossdale. Thus far, her solo career has been most recognized for a
pair of popular 2001 duets, the "Southside" remix with techno artist Moby
and "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" with rapper Eve. In fact, Stefani became the first
artist in history to win both Best Male Video and Best Female Video awards
at the MTV VMA's, for "Southside" (credited as "Moby featuring Gwen

top-model and singer who took the Arab world by storm after the release of
her first album Howa el-Zaman (It is time).

Haifa grew up in the capital city of Lebanon, Beirut listening to jazz
and R&B. She became a model at a very young age and won the title of "Miss
South Lebanon" at age sixteen. She later participated in the national Miss
Lebanon pageant and won the title of second-runner up. However her title was
soon revoked once it became revealed that she was married and had a
daughter, Zaza.

In the late 1990s, a sex scandal erupted about her and she tried to
defend herself on a popular TV show on Télévision du Liban. Unfortunately,
her attempt turned out to be unsuccessful as and she decided to take a long
hiatus away from the media and public attention. She had hoped her absence
would allow time for people to forgive and forget about her situation.

As some time passed, she released her first album as a singer, titled
"Howa el-Zaman" which surprised many people given the low expectations. Her
success was attributed more so to her beauty than her vocal talent. Although
she is not widely regarded as a talented singer, she is famous for her
performing abilities and seen by many to be one of the prettiest women in
Lebanon. Despite her unexpected success, Haifa remained the focus of many
Lebanese tabloids and countless popular jokes were made about her.

Her second album "Badi 'Aish" ("I want to live") was released in 2005 and
is living up to expectations. She remains popular among Lebanon's youth and
makes countless television appearances. She has certainly cemented herself
in Lebanese popular culture as the ultimate sex symbol.

In July 2005, Haifa, along with 14 other celebrities from the Arab world,
began airing the live pan-Arab reality show series "Al Wadi", based on the
French reality show "La Ferme des Celebrites". The show aired for three
months, 24/7. It was critically acclaimed and won over many harsh critics.
The show featured weekly live performances in which Haifa played a central
role singing songs from her new album.

Recently, she announced her engagement to a Saudi businessman, Tariq
Al-Jaffali, surprising many people. Rumors about the gifts he offered her
began to circulate immediately. However, after only a few weeks, her fiancée
abruptly called off the engagement for reasons that were not made public. It
was reported that Haifa was terribly upset over the situation and that his
family pressured him to not marry her. In late 2005 Pepsi announced that
Haifa would be the new face of the company. In early 2006 Haifa started work
on her new album that will be released later this year.

Haifa was ranked 49 in the 2006 Edition of the Top 99 Most Desirable
Women by the popular website AskMen.com .

Born August 14, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, Halle is the youngest daughter
born to Jerome and Judith Berry, an interracial couple. Halle, and her older
sister Heidi, spent the first few years of their childhood living in an
inner-city neighborhood. Her abusive father, Jerome Berry, abandoned his
wife and children, and left the family when Halle was four years old. Halle
was raised almost totally by her mother, Judith, a psychiatric nurse. Judith
then moved her family to the predominantly white Cleveland suburb of
Bedford. This rough start to her life did not deter her from excelling in
whatever she did. Halle attended a nearly all-white public school, and as a
result, she was subjected to discrimination at an early age. Throughout high
school, Halle participated in a variety of extracurricular activities,
holding positions of newspaper editor, class president, member of the honor
society, varsity cheerleader, and prom queen. Halle won Miss Ohio, Miss Teen
All-American, and in 1986, was first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant. She
was the first African American to represent the U.S. in the Miss World
competition in London. Halle attended Cleveland's Cuyahoga Community
College, where she studied broadcast journalism. Halle abandoned her idea of
a career in news reporting however, choosing to wholeheartedly devote her
time to a career in entertainment. She first moved to Chicago, then New York
City, where she found work as a catalog model. Halle's acting career began
in television with a role on the short-lived sitcom "Living Dolls". This was
followed by a year-long run on the CBS prime time drama "Knot’s Landing".
Halle's first big screen break came later that year when she was cast as
Samuel L. Jackson’s drug addicted girlfriend in Spike Lee’s "Jungle Fever".
More substantial supporting roles followed, including that of a stripper in
the action-thriller "The Last Boy Scout", starring Bruce Willis. This
success lead to Halle as the woman who finally wins Eddie Murphy’s heart in
the romantic comedy "Boomerang". Halle, now with a few films under her belt,
accepted more offbeat roles, making cameos in the rockumentary "CB4" which
traced the rise and fall of the titled rap group. She then starred in the
live action version of "The Flintstones", featuring Halle as a Stone Age
seductress, a very sexy and successful performance. Halle's next role was a
no-holds-barred performance as a rehabilitated crack addict seeking to
regain custody of her son in "Losing Isaiah". The story was set in the midst
of a bitter custody battle with adoptive parents, played by Jessica Lange
and David Strathairn. Later that year, Halle overcame Hollywood's racial
barriers when she was cast as the first African American to play the Queen
of Sheeba in Showtime’s movie "Solomon & Sheeba". Halle has been introduced
as the new Bond Girl, and we are sure to see her in a very sexy role in the
near future.

Hilary Duff made a name for herself on the enormously successful Disney
Channel/ABC Kids show Lizzie McGuire, which she parlayed into careers as a
pop singer and film actress. Like most overnight successes, Duff paid her
dues for a few years before her big break. Appearances in the 1997 women's
Western True Women, 1998's Casper (as the Friendly Ghost's human friend
Wendy), and 1999's The Soul Collector paved the way for her best-known role.
Duff also appeared in the indie film Human Nature, reflecting her continuing
big-screen aspirations.

Duff began her first steps toward her singing career with the song "Santa
Claus Lane," which appeared on the soundtrack to The Santa Clause 2, as well
as her own Christmas album, also named Santa Claus Lane. That year,
production ended on Lizzie McGuire, freeing up Duff to pursue other
opportunities. Episodes of the show continued to run into 2003, but by that
time Duff had begun to move on, appearing in the teen spy movie Agent Cody
Banks. The soundtrack to the movie also featured several songs by Duff,
including the singles "Why Not" and "I Can't Wait," which were both
successes in their own right; the soundtrack went platinum in summer 2003.

Around that time, Metamorphosis, Duff's bona fide debut as a singer, was
released. The album charted number two on the Billboard 200 on the week of
its release, and its single "So Yesterday" topped the pop singles chart
earlier that summer. Duff's omnipresence in 2003 continued with appearances
at that year's MTV Video Music Awards and the Nickelodeon Kids Choice
Awards, where she accepted Lizzie McGuire's trophy for Favorite TV Show. She
also appeared in that year's film Cheaper By the Dozen and embarked on a
tour that fall. The year 2004 looked to be just as busy for Duff, with
movies like A Cinderella Story and Agent Cody Banks 2 on the docket, as well
as a new TV series with CBS in the works.

her debut single in the UK and Australia - 'Kiss Kiss' in May 2002. Not only
has Holly been a talented singer since her childhood days, but she's proved
to be a acomplished dancer, and has even penned some tracks on her album -

Jennifer Esposito

Jennifer Esposito

Name : Jennifer Esposito

Birthday : 11 April, 1973

Birth city : New York, New York, USA.

Nationality : American

Profession : Actress

Jennifer Esposito was born April 11, 1973. Jennifer and her older sister
grew up in Brooklyn, New York, along with her father Bob, a computer
consultant (and former music producer), and mom Phyllis, an interior
decorator. Her dreams of becoming an actress were present from day one, and
led her to enroll at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. Though she
found bit parts every so often, bigger roles were hard to come by in the
beginning, and so to make ends meet, Esposito worked as a waitress. But the
wait finally paid off: In 1995, she got her first big break by landing a
part on the ABC soap, The City. This brought her to the attention of the
casting agents of Spin City, who were looking for a feisty, Italian-American
to portray Michael J. Fox's character's assistant.

Esposito was eventually cast and began shooting for the successful sitcom
in 1997. But finding the work to be unfulfilling, Jennifer left the series
in 1999 in pursuit of a career in feature films. Again, she did not have to
wait long; after working on films like Kiss Me Guido and I Still Know What
You Did Last Summer, Spike Lee cast her in his 1999 film, Summer of Sam.
Although the film was not a commercial success, it did showcase Esposito's
range while playing a punk singer whose boyfriend is accused of murder.
Incidentally, Esposito was originally slated to play the role that
ultimately went to Mira Sorvino, but she had to take on a smaller role due
to scheduling conflicts.

Since then, Jennifer Esposito has consistently remained in the spotlight,
landing roles in Just One Time, Dracula 2000, Don't Say a Word, and 2002's
The Master of Disguise with Dana Carvey. To date, she has shown no signs of
slowing down. Over the years, Esposito has been linked to various men,
including Dean Winters and All My Children star Cameron Mathison, though it
appears that she is currently single. Esposito is keeping busy auditioning
and continues to work on various projects. You can see her next in Prey for
Rock & Roll and Jesus, Mary and Joey.

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner

Name : Jennifer Garner

Birth Date : April 17, 1972

Birth Place : Houston, Texas, USA

Birth Name : Jennifer Anne Garner

Height : 5' 9

Education : George Washington High School, Charleston

Nationality : American

Occupation : Actor

Spouse : Scott Foley (actor; married on October 19, 2000; separated on
March 23, 2003)

Jennifer Anne Garner was born on April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas to Bill
& Pat Garner. Bill is a retired chemical engineer and Pat is a retired
college English teacher. Her parents were always supportive of Jennifer and
helped her to pursue her dreams. Raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Garner
began appearing in television and film in the mid-1990s. While growing up
Jennifer studied ballet for six hours a day which helped teach her
discipline that would help her later in life. Jennifer graduated from George
Washington High School in the class of 1990 and went on to attend Dennison
University. She started college majoring in Chemistry. She later changed her
major to drama when she realized that her passion for the stage outweighed
her love of science. After graduating from Dennison in 1994 she headed to
New York City to pursue her career.

Jen scored her first television role as Melissa Gilbert's daughter on the
miniseries "Zoya" based on Danielle Steel's book. The next few roles that
Jennifer received were in two Hallmark Hall of Fame fims, "Harvest of Fire"
and "Rose Hill". Jennifer did a few other feature films before landing her
first role on a television series, "Significant Others". Also featured in
the ABC miniseries "Larry McMurtry's Dead Man's Walk" (1996), Garner made
her big screen debut in 1997, with roles in Agnieszka Holland's adaptation
of the Henry James classic "Washington Square" as well as the modern NYC
tale "Deconstructing Harry" and the comical "Mister Magoo". The recurring
role that got Garner some increased notice and also landed her a husband
(she and Foley married in 2000), was portrayal of Hanna, the musician
girlfriend of laid-back resident advisor Noel (Scott Foley).

Though "Significant Others" didn't work out, Garner was eager to try
another series, and was cast opposite popular Jennifer Love Hewitt in "The
Time of Your Life" but it was out of time by mid-2000 due to unexpectedly
low ratings. In 2000, Garner returned to film with a fun supporting role as
the increasingly fed-up girlfriend of Ashton Kutcher's lame-brained hero in
the goofy comedy "Dude, Where's My Car?". The following year she had the
third female lead in the Michael Bay actioner "Pearl Harbor", playing a
thoughtful military nurse stationed at the embattled site, doing her best
with a disappointingly underdeveloped role.

2001 saw Garner get back on the TV series horse, starring as a graduate
student with a secret life as a spy in the ABC adventure "Alias." In 2002,
she earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in A Drama Series
for her role in "Alias" and expanded into feature films: She had a brief but
memorable turn as a beautiful fashion model with an intriguing sideline in
director Steven Spielberg's "Catch Me If You Can" (2002), then followed up
in 2003 with the pivotal role of the martial artist and assassin Elektra,
the enemy and lover of the Marvel Comics superhero "Daredevil" (Ben
Affleck). Promising a smooth transition from small-screen superstar to
A-list actress, Garner next signed on to star in "13 Going on 30" (lensed
2003), a sort of girl power version of "Big" in which she plays the
thirty-year-old transformation of an awkward teenage girl.

Named one of People Magazine's 'Breakthrough Stars of 2001'. Named one of
the 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine - May 2002. Named the #1
sexiest woman of 2001 by MAXIM men's magazine.

Jennifer Lynn Lopez was born on July 24, 1970. Her parents came to New
York from Ponce, Puerto Rico. She is the middle of three sisters. At the age
of 7, young Jennifer went on her first tour - around New York City with her
dance class. At the age of 16 Jennifer got a little break with a bit part in
the film ''My Little Girl'' (starring Mary Stuart Masterson). But Jennifer's
first love was still dance, and when she read about a scholarship to a dance
school in Manhattan, she went down and grabbed the opportunity. At this time
she was taking a full time course load at Baruch, working in a law office
and taking her dance classes. Eventually this would lead to a falling out
with her mother, who didn't want Jennifer to pursue dance as a career. When
her mother gave her the ever popular ''you live by my rules as long as you
live under my roof'' speech Jennifer took that as her cue to break out on
her own. Not having anywhere else to live, she took up residence in the
building where she took her dance classes. A year and a half of auditioning
with no success brought Jennifer to the verge of a breakdown. But salvation
would come in the form of a tour that sent her dancing across Japan. Before
this, she had auditioned to be a ''Fly Girl'' for the show ''In Living
Color'' but she had been turned down. Upon returning from Japan, she
received a call from ''In Living Color'' asking her to audition again. This
time she made the cut and it was off to Hollywood. She didn't really enjoy
her time on ''In Living Color'', as she longed for an acting career that
would put her in the spotlight. Her first television job as an actress, on
the Fox series ''South Central'' came her way because the producer of the
show was married to one of the other fly girls, and he took notice of
Jennifer during a special Fox aired about the Fly Girls. ''South Central''
only survived one season, but she quickly resurfaced on television screens
appearing as ''Melinda Lopez'' first in the short lived ''Second Chances''
series, then ''Hotel Malibu.'' In 1995 she jumped onto the big screen in her
first major role, opposite Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson in ''Money
Train.'' She would go on to work opposite such talents as Robin Williams and
Jack Nicholson, but it was her work with Gregory Nava, who directed her in
''My Family, Mi Familia'' that would lead her to the role that would make
her a star.

After an extensive nationwide search, Jennifer was chosen to play Selena
Quintanilla Perez, in the official biopic of the life of the fallen Tejano
star. Taking part in the production of ''Selena'' would impact Jennifer's
life in many ways. On the personal side, Jennifer's fiancéé, Ojani Noa,
proposed to her at the wrap party for Selena. The couple had met in Miami
while Jennifer was filming ''Blood And Wine'' with Jack Nicholson. Ojani, a
Cuban immigrant, was an aspiring model working as a waiter at Gloria
Estefan's restaurant, Larios On The Beach. They were married in Miami on
February 22, 1997, after knowing each other less than a year. Jennifer's
sudden rise to fame with the release of ''Selena'' the following month would
put an excessive strain on the marriage, and the couple filed for divorce
just a little over a year after they were married.

After news of the divorce made headlines, the gossip papers quickly had
her romantically linked to the likes of rap impresario Sean ''Puffy'' Combs,
Sony Music President Tommy Mottola and Salsa singer Marc Anthony. Jennifer
herself remains tightlipped - and rightfully so - on the subject of her
personal life (although she has recently admitted that she is in fact having
a relationship with Puffy). Back on the professional level, her role as
Karen Sisco in 1998's ''Out Of Sight'', opposite George Clooney, has brought
her into the major leagues, making her the highest paying Latina actress in
history. Playing Selena also brought back Jennifer's interests in being the
''all around'' entertainer, and she decided to record a demo of her singing,
completely in Spanish. After a bidding war among a number of record
companies, Jennifer was signed to Sony Music's Work Group label. Her first
CD, a pop album with a Latin flavor (although mostly in English) was
released June 1, 1999. Working with the likes of Emilio Estefan, Rodney
Jerkins and Sean ''Puffy'' Combs, the music world is buzzing that Jennifer
is ''the next Gloria Estefan'' set to become the mainstream Latin crossover
star Selena herself surely would have been, had she been given the chance.
That early prediction seems accurate, as her first single, ''If You Had My
Love'' shot to 1 on the Billboard chart, and has been certified platinum
(one million sales).

father brought the family back to CA, then to Del Rio, Texas, before finally
settling in southern CA when Jessica was nine. In love with the idea of
becoming an actress from the age of five, Jessica was 12 before she took her
first acting class. Nine months later, she was signed by an agent.A gifted
young actress, Jessica has already played a variety of roles ranging from
light comedy to gritty drama since beginning her career 3 and a half years
ago. She was in an episode of the acclaimed medical drama ''Chicago Hope''.

Jeff''. Jessica made her feature film debut in 1993 in Hollywood Pictures
comedy ''Camp Nowhere''. Originally hired for two weeks, she got her break
when an actress in a principal role suddenly dropped out. Jessica cheerfully
admits it wasn't her prodigious talent or charm that inspired the director
to tap her to take over the part. It was her hair, which matched the
original performer's. The two week job stretched to two months, and Jessica
ended the film with an impressive first credit. Two National TV commercials
for Nintendo and J.C. Penny quickly followed before Jessica was featured in
several independent films. She branched out into TV in 1994 with recurring
role in Nickelodeon's popular comedy series ''The Secret World of Alex
Mack''. She played an insufferable young snob, devoted to making life
miserable for the the title character, played by Larisa Oleynick. That same

Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel

Name : Jessica Biel

Birth Name : March 3, 1982

Birth Place : Ely, Minnesota, USA

Birth Name : Jessica Claire Biel

Height : 5' 7''

Education : Private Tutor on set of 7th Heaven; Private School when not
working; Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts

Nationality : American

Profession : Actress

Claim to fame : as Mary Camden in 7th Heaven TV Series (1996-2000)

Born March 3, 1982, in Ely, Minnesota, Jessica is a controversial sexy
model and inspiring actress. Raised in Boulder, Colorado, Jessica started
doing plays at the age of nine with roles in "The Sound of Music", "Annie",
"Beauty and the Beast", and "Anything Goes". In 1994, while attending Diane
Hardin's Young Actor's Space in Los Angeles, Jessica was discovered by her
current manager, Jeff Morrone, from Innovative Artists. Jessica's on-screen
career began in 1996, where she played Mary Camden, the oldest daughter of a
minister couple in the squeaky clean TV hit "7th Heaven". She also branched
out to the big screen with parts in "Ulee's Gold" in '97 and "I'll Be Home
For Christmas" in 1998, where she played opposite Home Improvement's
Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

Under the watchful eye of her father, she was featured in several
modeling covers including Sassy Magazine in '96, Teen and Moxie Girl in
1998, and the huge honor from People Magazine in '99 when they named her one
of the worlds 50 most beautiful people. Jessica has the charisma and sex
appeal needed to be a movie starlet or a pin-up girl. Her breakthrough came
when she was cast in Aaron Spelling's WB production, "7th Heaven" (1996) as
Mary Camden. Although she gained considerable attention for her work on the
show, she became increasingly frustrated with her role, blaming her saintly
image for the loss of a leading role in American Beauty (1999) to Thora
Birch. Feeling her character in the series was limiting her film career,
despite a role in the acclaimed drama Ulee's Gold (1997), Biel attempted to
get out of her contract. When the producers refused, Biel turned to Gear
Magazine where she posed nude; the controversial cover and photo spread
resulted in her leaving the television series by mutual consent.
Unfortunately, Biel's film career did not take off as quickly, only as she
had hoped and she frequently appears as a guest on "7th Heaven" (1996).

Jessica is a high school honor student and enjoys dancing and singing. It
comes as no surprise that she has a life outside of acting by going to
college at Tufts University, and toyed with the idea of going to UCLA.
Jessica also is an amateur photographer, enjoys rollerblading, collects
vintage glasses in her spare time.

A native of Dallas, Jessica first developed her vocal skills in the local
Baptist church where her father, a psychologist, also worked as a youth
minister. When Jessica was 12 she auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club,
where Jessica's talents took her all the way to the finals. The following
year while attending religious camp, Jessica delivered an acappella version
of "Amazing Grace" for one of the camp's guest speakers, of whom was
launching a new gospel music label. Jessica signed up. Three years later
after the small label folded, Jessica took the material she had worked on
and began to hit the Christian Youth Conference circuit. News of the teenage
Texan with the grown-up voice soon began to filter out of the religious
world and into the pop music realm and it was only a matter of time before
the major labels expressed interest. In the late 90's, Jessica signed with
Columbia Records. Sweet Kisses, her major label debut, was released in 1999
and spawned the smash singles "I Wanna Love You Forever," "I Think I'm In
Love," and "Where You Are." Following the release of her debut, Jessica hit
the road, wowing audiences worldwide with her soaring emotion-packed vocals
and high-energy stage presence. The title track to Irresistible, her 2001
follow-up, was a crossover smash, charting on the Hot 100 (#15), the

this vital next stage in her career. With her new album, Jessica Simpson
comes into her own as a woman and refines her ever-evolving voice as an

Josie Maran was born and raised just outside San Francisco in Menlo Park,
and graduated from an all-girls private school. Although she now resides in
Manhattan, California will always be considered home. Following the path of
many other models, Maran did not initially aspire to be a model. She was
hanging out with her friends at a BBQ in her hometown three years ago when a
woman asked her to be in a fashion show. This request was the beginning of
her modeling career, since a modeling agent at the show spotted Maran and
encouraged her to start modeling. Presently managed by the Elite Model
Management, Maran has graced such magazine covers as Fitness, Glamour and
Teen, as well as Shape, Seventeen, Stuff, and Sport. Apart from her work in
the Guess? advertising campaign, she also appeared in ads for Maybelline and
American Eagle Outfitters. Although Maran has already had an impressive
modeling career at the tender age of 20, she is still down to earth. Not
only does she "look at life as an adventure", but she also enjoys learning
about different people, cultures and countries. When not working, Maran
makes time for her favorite pastimes: reading, hiking, traveling, and
spending time with her family and friends. Maran hopes to continue modeling
for a few more years and eventually try her hand at acting.

Katherine was to spend the majority of her childhood. Katherine or "Katie",

Katherine made her debut in a magazine advertisement, and soon followed
this with a television appearance in a national commercial for Cheerios
cereal. Following a number of modeling assignments for Sears and Lord &
Taylor, Katherine made her big screen debut in "That Night" which starred
Juliette Lewis and C. Thomas Howell. Katherine soon realized that acting,
rather than modeling, was her passion. Katherine appeared in Steven
Soderbergh's critically acclaimed depression era drama "King Of The Hill"

Gerard Depardieu in "My Father The Hero".

Katherine continued to attend New Canaan High School, balancing her

in Malibu Canyon, Los Angeles. This move allowed Katherine to focus upon
acting with the guidance and support of her mother, who now manages her
career. During this time, Katherine portrayed Taffy Entwhistle, Rita
Hayworth's stand-in, in the movie "Stand-ins" and was also cast as Princess
Ilene in "Prince Valiant". Katherine has also branched into television,
co-starring with Peter Fonda in a re-working of the classic Shakespearean
play "The Tempest". Most recently, Katherine has turned her attention back
to television, in the hit series "Roswell", in which she portrays Isabel
Evans. The show focuses on a group of aliens and their lives in Roswell, New
Mexico, from evading the FBI, to their day-to-day interaction with humans.

Katherine has recently graced the covers of magazines such as TV Guide
and Maxim and has been interviewed on "Later with Cynthia Garrett" and "The
Craig Kilborn Show". As Katherine's popularity on "Roswell" has grown, her
role is now being expanded for the second season of the show. In between
episodes of "Roswell", Katherine found time to act in recent horror feature
"Valentine", which also stars David Boreanaz and Denise Richards.

Kelly Brook

Kelly Brook

Name : Kelly Brook

Date Of Birth : November 23, 1979

Birth Place : Kent, Rochester, England

Born Kelly Parsons on November 23, 1979 in Kent, Rochester, England, Ms.
Brooke is the daughter of Sandra, a cook, and Ken, a scaffolder. It was
clear from the start that Kelly would be much more.

Her talent can be traced back to when she attended the prestigious Italia
Conte stage school, where Naomi Campbell and Louise Nurding also studied.
After 3 years of training in dance, singing, and acting, Kelly was ready to
start her career.

Kelly's mum entered her in a beauty contest, which of course Kelly won,
and led to her interest in modeling. After some small modeling jobs at local
firms, including the flooring company KMS, Kelly was gracing the cover of
GQ, FHM, Sky, Cosmopolitan, Tatler, The Face, and Company by the age of 16.

Her gorgeous physique also slipped into Lee jeans, as part of its
advertising campaign, and she was known for playing the game show hostess
''Nicky with the Ticky'' for a Sure deodorant TV ad. She was finally making
a larger salary, as compared to her waitressing job at a tea shop.

More modeling jobs came Kelly's way, such as print campaigns for Renault
Megane, Walkers, Piz Buin, and the Triumph Flaunt underwear and bra line.
The latter featured Kelly on a billboard in London, said to be the largest
billboard in the world -- all the more to see Kelly.

Although Kelly was appearing in ads all over the UK, she hit the big time
when she won the position of Big Breakfast presenter on Britain's Channel 4.
It was Kelly's dream come true, since she was more interested in being a
presenter than acting or singing.

Rumor has it that Kelly quit Big Breakfast after the tabloids published
that the show was going to fire her for being ''too dumb.'' Well, she beat
them to it by resigning. After Big Breakfast, Kelly was busy hosting MTV's
Select. It was the perfect move for her, as she wanted to be involved with
presenting hip music to young fans, because of her interest in dance. Kelly
was splitting her presenting duties and television appearances between
Select, VLP and Babewatch for Granada, and The T-Spot for Trouble TV. She
was also co-host for No Worries, made appearances on Short Change and Fist
of Fun, and hosted the Oasis Live at Wembley concert on Sky One. Forget
about TV, Kelly was seen on the big-screen in 2000, in the film Sorted. She
also made a guest-appearance in Mojo, and took her acting skills as a table
dancer to the stage of the production, Eye Contact, at the Riverside Studios
in London. You may also recognize her from Pulp's ''Help the Aged'' music
video. We might see more of Kelly, as she was cast in the pilot for The
(Mis)adventures of Fiona Plum. Kelly released her first official calendar in
2001, featuring all of Kelly, 12 months a year. Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking
Barrels and Snatch star Jason Statham gets to see her 365 days a year, as
they are engaged. FHM's 5th Sexiest Brit Girl for 2000 can next be seen in
the upcoming film Ripper: Letter from Hell, as Marisa.

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue

Name : Kylie Minogue

Birth Name : Kylie Ann Minogue

Birth Date : May 28, 1968

Birth Place : Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Height : 5' 1''

Profession : Actress, model, singer

Nationality : Australian

Claim to fame : Album Kylie (1988)

During her early years Kylie was influenced by taking piano, tap and jazz
lesson's. Early musical influences were ''The Beatles'', ''The Rolling
Stones'' and ''Abba''. Even though Kylie was quite a shy child her mother
had already decided they(both sister's)would not follow her footsteps and
become dancers.''I was never very keen on them taking up dancing becauseit's
such a hard life''.It was when Kylie turned 11 that her debut part
inAustralian television show ''The Sullivans'' began to pave an incredible
rise to fame within the Australian television industry.Kylie always balanced
her studies with her acting career and it was after she passed her HSc that
Kylie decided she was going to give acting a go...Naturally though the
schoolgirl Kylie and the child star made it difficult for Kylie and her
friends to adjust to the rising fame. In February 1986, Kylie auditioned and
got the part of feisty, fiery girl next door mechanic Charlene Mitchell in
the reletively new soap, ''Neighbours''. A deluge of fanmail and rising
viewing figures saw them extend the 12 week contract and ''Charlene'' with
on and off screen love ''Scott Robinson''(played by JasonDonovan) took the
show to the number one ratings spot in Australia and the United Kingdom. A
record 23.8 million witnessed there marriage and this for a daytime soap!!
the frenzy caused by neighbours was also casuing kids to bunk off schools
and take televisions with them just to keep up with the show. Looking back
only Russell Crowe(Gladiator) and Guy Pearce(L.A.Confidential) have also
found fame. It was no surprise that Kylie went on to win 5 logies(television
awards) including Most Popular Television Actress the same year. In 1987
Kylie performed with the cast for a charity function and an opportunity
arose to sing a solo of Little Eva's sixties smash ''The Locomotion''. The
reception was crazy and Kylie was swept into the studio to record and
release the song within days. The single was released and went to number one
in Australia for 7 weeks during 1987. Kylie decided that this was a
direction that was now calling her, so in 1988 when Kylie finished filming
her last Neighbours scenes, she flew to England to meet with reknowned
producers Stock, Aitken+ Waterman.

Immediately the potential was seen in kylie and she was signed for a 5
year four album deal including a Greatest Hits.Pete Waterman states, ''She
has a great voice.I love working with her because she has a terrific sense
of humour, a fabulous personality and she knows how to really sell a song.''
Kylie's first release musically in the UK was to be a newly penned song, ''I
Should Be So Lucky'', it climbed the charts slowly to reach No.1 and it
stayed there for 5 weeks, selling over 800,000 copies and the album,
''Kylie'' went 7x platinum with sales of over 1.85 million. her string of
hits and her record over the next five years has placed Kylie in the Guiness
Book Of Records and within Music history forever. ''The Locomotion''
incidentally peaked at No.3 in the USA with sales of 500,000, but Europe too
was loving every minute. The first four singles went No.1 in Finland (a
record) and the album ''Kylie'' went on to sell over 7.3 million worldwide.
This was one of the most successful starts to a pop career ever. In 1989 a
second album was released, ''Enjoy Yourself'' and Kylie decided that she was
missing her acting and the lifestyle that entailed so she began lookign for
a dceent Australian script, Kylie wanted a small film to try and find her
feet in the movie world. the problem was/is Kylie is such a huge star within
the music scene the media were on the case and made her acting debut
asuccess but also a carefully watched baptism. The character ''Lola'' in the
''The Delinquents'' with Charlie Schlatter told the stroy of a young girl
growing up in the 50's. It was soon a No.1 box office smash in both the UK
and AUS, mostly thanks to Kylie's growing number of supporter's. No rest
period though and ylie was intent on moving her musical career forward, some
call it a huge leap as the bubblegum pop turned into bubblegum classics as
her third album ''Rhythm Of Love'' spawned the golden quartet of singles,
Step Back n Time, Shocked, What Do I Have To Do? and Better The Devil You
Know. This album handed the opportunity to work with Stephen Bray(Madonna)
and also begin to write her own songs, the new sexier look was also inpired
from a relationship with late rock legendMichael Hutchence of INXS.Never
before had a teenager been watched and written about so much, Kylie was
beginning to see her health suffer and also her family life become non
existent as life on the road away from Australia was taking it's toll on the
21 year old star. ''Let's Get To It'' her fourth album was opportunity for
Kylie to stage her second world tour and close off her deal with S/A/W
paving the future for, what us fans remember was a very uncertain time in
the life and career of Kylie Minogue....September 24th 1994, ''Kylie
Minogue'' was released, the huge successful single ''Confide In Me'' helped
it to debut at No.4. Confide meanwhile was being hailed as one of the
coolest songs of the year.At home Kylie enjoyed a 5 week reign at No.1...The
critics and the press ate humble pie. Streetfighter although not critically
acclaimed was still a box office smash taking over $100 statesside. It was
in 1994 that Kylie's army of gay fans began to emerge and lift her up to an
iconic Queen of Pop, she was cool, camp and kitcsh, in just three minutes
bursts her videos could stun a room to silence, her beauty equalled only by
Rita Hayworth or Bette Davis.Kylie was moving away from appearences on Smash
Hits and would now be seen on ''The Face'', ''Q'' and ''NME'', everyone was
suddenly interested in Deconstructing the 1994 Kylie.Life after Michael
Hutchence was proving somewhat difficult for her and I think she began to
lose a little of the motivation which kept her nonstop lifestyle on full
speed. After a relativley successful album Kylie was conscious that music was
again moving and changing, she went home to Melbourne after filming
Bio-Dome(another bad movie) and it was clear that the direction and the
inspiration had all but disappeared after years of demanding workloads and
press commitments. It was vital that somehow someone had to walk into her
life and inject some sense of achievement and credibility. Finally in 1995
Kylie met Nick Cave, he became the ''someone'' that lifted her spirits and
with his own song written specifically for Kylie a duet was on the cards. A
murder ballad, a dark mysterious song which saw Kylie's character killed by
the end, ''Where The Wild Roses Grow'' was about to shake every kylie fan
and even the ''cool'' people could not believe the power and the emotion
from these two Aussie's. It peaked at No.11 in the UK, went top 5 in
Australia and went top 10 all over Europe, the video was so popular on MTV
that it made their top 5 European countdown chart.During this period Kylie
also attended the poetry olympics held at the Royal Albert Hall, London and
Nick managed to get Kylie to read ''I Should Be So Lucky'' in poem
format.Kylie always remember's this period with fondness because it was with
this new confidence that she credited herself with the influence and also
the past which at least gave kylie some calm and room to explore a new album
direction.Kyli enever stopped working with long time partner Steve Anderson
throughout the mid 1995/6, they were working eithe rin the studio or
attending chairty gala's just to keep people known Kylie was still here. It
was her gay fans that got to see her mostly and its a relationship which
carries through to today. It was also during this period that William
Baker(Kylie's current creative Director and Stylist) managed to meet Kylie
and have a coffee. They shared idea's and a friendship was born, but most
importantly a working relationship which has developed into the 2000 awad
winning ''On A Night like This'' tour.Kylie's duet with Nick cave gave her a
23rd UK top 20 single, of which 4 were No.1's and a further 11 were top 5
smashes. A surburban Aussie, a neighbour by any other definition is a Gay
icon world wide.Gay culture world-wide are a kin to knowing her lyrics and
the 3 minute bursts of pop, from Soho to Sydney, Paris to New York.At just
5ft1'' Kylie is positively delicate and angellic in her prescence, alittle
sister amongst her gay family. Kylie's fashion knowledge and her apparent
gift to be dressed in the right thing at the right time combined with her
doll like size, makes her the perfect puppet for a gay man's bedroom. In the
seeking of creative and musical freedom the social struggle fought by Kylie
was close and resembled a gay man's fight to admit the issues surrounding
sexuality and in her three minute bursts, Kylie helped somewhat to make
everything seem okay.If the titles of the songs were illustrations of a gay
lyric then we need look no further than ''Better The Devil You Know'', What
Do I Have To Do'' and ''Confide In Me''. Kylie's close relationship with her
fans and her overwhelming support towards them travelled hand in hand, all
in a time when the pink pound was nothing more than hear'say. In the
straight world Kylie was neglected and cast aside, chastised and mocked so
rightfully just that the gay men planted her within their world and gave the
chance to bloom once more. There may not be alot of tragedy to her life as
with former gay icon's but the unique aspect to Kylie is the angellic nature
and complete lady like qualities that shine through.Lyrics from ''Cowboy
Style''..''Found my voicve to have my say, you take me close to far away,
and now i find and now i feel, the ordinary is surreal, peace and terror all
in one, my future life has just begun''.Kylie appeard in early 1997 as a
cameo in an independant film ''Diana and Me'' the story revolved around one
fan's fondness towards Princess Diana, ironically and sadly Diana was
tragically later that year to be killed in Paris, and cause more problems
for Kylie than could be imagined. A delay on her second album release with
Deconstruction was prompted and the l title of ''Impossibe Princess was
deemed innapropriate and was change to ''Kylie Minogue (1997)'' With all the
fresh material from the two Deconstruction albums kylie had neglected to
tour for nearly 8 years and her fans were eager to see the new tour
scheduled for the summer of 1998, ''Intimate and Live''. In total Kylie
played main venues in the UK before heading home to a sellout 7 minute
crowd. It was the first chance Kylie had at creating a tour from scratch.
WIth the death of ex Michael Hutchence a few months earlier it was just the
tonic to re-produce the excitement that the fans knew she possessed. The
whole period is best contrasted with the lyrics to the opening album and
tour track lyrics. ''Too Far'': Caught up in this house, trapped my own self
in the snare of my mind, no more space than a slither, what I'd give for a
deep breath inside where the chaos has me captive, where theres no exit
signs, to fuel this stupuid fire with these feelings of mine.'' Her
homecoming was full of credibility and the reviews were sensational. Kylie
was back with her fans, it had been too long. After the tour finished in
Sydney Kylie decided on compiling a book of photographics images with some
comments from fellow stars including Bono, Boy George and Julie Burchill. The
Book promo titled ''evidence'' was ''a valid way at looking at my career''
says Kylie. I attended the signing at Selfridges in November 1999 and came
face to face for the first time with the lady of pop. After the book signing
took Kylie back to Sydney in December an invite from the government for
Kylie to play for the Australian troops fighting in Eastimor. In December
Kylie aong with John Farnham flew to war ridden East Timor on a trip of
goodwill. It was during this sometimes camp show that Kylie decided to sign
with Parlophone records in the UK and sit down and work ona disco album. And
so a deal was done with Parlophone and EMI, Kylie stayed with Mushroom
Records Australia (since 1987). The direction and the influence would be
disco and dance. Kylie continued to write and input on the album and she
also worked with long time writer friend Steve Anderson. Her most publicised
work though was with Robbie Williams who had the duet ''Kids'' which reached
No.2 with the camp anthem ''Your Disco Needs You'' and ''Loveboat''
included. It was though ''Spinning Around'' which debuted at No.1 in
Australia and the UK which gave Kylie her 6th number one and a return to
high sales as Light Years also entred the charts at No.1 (Aus. No.2 (Uk). It
went on to sell well over 2 million and confirmed to all the critics the
loosely named comeback queen was on top of the pop throne again.More press
pages were granted to Kylie's gold hotpants that anything else, even though
they are a well known piece of wardrobe for our little minx. Men weer
drooling and MTV could not get enough of the videos. The album was also a
great reason to launch a huge European and Australasian tour. ''On A Night
Like This'' broke all records in Sydney and infact all records for any tour
ever in Australia. No other act in history to date has played as many
shows. The show also toured the UK and Europe and it was the first time for
many to witness Kylie live, since 1991.Many of her newer and revisiting fans
had not witnessed Intimate and Live so when they did attend, they were blown
away. The tour won Kylie awards and also crtitical acclaim. It seems in a
world where many artists mime to backing tracks, Kylie professional approach
was now seen to be something to admire. Light Years produced four top 10 UK
singles in total and kept Kylie busy up until Spring 2001. The momentum was
in full motion and the writing for her 8th Studio album had commenced
nicknamed ''Coming of Age'', ''Fever'' was to be a journey through the early
electronic period in the 80's. Kylie's early recollections of Grace Jones,
Synthesiser fuelled disco. The tour was a great arena for her to showcase a
new song ''Can't Get You Out Of My Head''. The reception was great but who
knew that this song would launch kylie into the biggest stage of her career
to date? I thought it sounded great and her vocals delivered perfectly but
America, the country which rarely listen to anything foreign. a country
where theres 17 lookalikes and soundalikes Britneys launched every day. Well
itis about time that they got the opportunity to hear Kylie and I have a
feling that in 2002 The whole world will be taken over by Miss Minogue. The
strangeness to it all though does not make me happy for this. In a business
sense it is wonderful, but in a selfish way aving Kylie for so long in a
smaller world was quite superb. Kylie may now just become a prescence on my
television screen, and after seeing her live many times it is a sad loss. So
as Kylie moved into 2001 with a successful tour and an album due for release
in September there was just enough time to film her part in the third
feature film by Australia's Baz Luhrman. His follow up to the smash hit
Romeo+Juliet was the bohemian love story encased within the Moulin Rouge.
Starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor, Kylie was cast as the green fairy.
At first Luhrmann had used an animation but once it was deemed not good
enough he thought that only Kylie could be the fairy. They organised time
off and she rushed to Australia to film her section, including the operatic
version of ''The Sound Of Music''. The absinthe fairy is actually a real
logo and there is a history behind the fairy which delves deeper into the
Moulin Rouge. The film has already received Golden Globesland Nicole Kidman
an oscar nomination. A successful return to the big screen for Kylie...Maybe
there a future Baz script that will fall Kylie's way...we can but hope.

Adam Garcia(Coyote Ugly,Saturday Night Fever) was a special guest in this
Saturday night extravanganza.Kylie had been given her own hour long show to
entertain and present songs from the new album ''Fever''. ''Can't Get You
Out Of My Head'' was dominating every chart in the world, and spending it's
12th week on top of the Worldpop global chart, it was more of a
celebration.Very few artists get given there own primetime show and the
press were reporting that Madonn'a had said her kids were in love with the
new song.It seems in 2001 no-one could get Kylie out of their heads. A
performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards left crowds in Berlin breathless
and subsequent awards were won at the Top Of The Pop awards in Manchester
and4 nominations for 2002 Brit Awards. The song has topped charts all over
the world and ''Fever'' has already sold in excess of 3 million copies
worldwide after just 3 months of sales. The Kylie star has never shone so
brightly. On a more personal level Kylie has suffered from emotional
exhaustion this year due to the punishing workloads and promotional
schedules and her dad was also diagnosed with Cancer, which it seems he has
beaten as I write this. So as 2001 comes to a close and the news that
''Can't Get You Out Of My Head'' is No.1on the USA dance charts with a full
American release of ''Fever '' due in February, it's is time that the world
took note of the first lady of pop music in the 21st century...step forward
Miss Kylie Minogue...May your reign continue....

Leeann Tweeden

Leeann Tweeden

Name : Leeann Tweeden

Birth Date : June 13, 1973

Birth Place : Manasass, VA

Birth Name : Leeann Velez Tweeden

Height : 5'8

Measurement : 34-34-35

Hair : Brown

Eyes : Brown

Occupation : Model

Leeann Velez Tweeden was born June 13, 1973, in Manassas, Virginia. The
Osbourn Park Senior High graduate headed to Colorado Springs to try her hand
or her body at a modeling career. Fresh out of school, Leeann got a job at
Hooters, and allegedly deferred her acceptance to Harvard in order to
concentrate on modeling full-time. Finally, 2 years after moving out to
Colorado, Leeann won the Venus International Model Search contest in 1992.
The aspiring model/actress headed west to Los Angeles, and made her
television debut for Tony Little, the Venus Model Search fitness trainer.
While modeling for Frederick's of Hollywood in 1993, Leeann paid homage to
her modeling roots as the video and TV host of the 1993 Venus Model Search.
She later returned to co-host the event in 1994, and was the host of the
1995, 1996 and 1997 finals.

Her work with Venus Model Search helped her land her first magazine
cover, as she graced the cover of Swimwear USA Magazine. Although Leeann is
said to not have worked with Hooters for a long period of time, her
relationship with the restaurant chain did extend for several years. Leeann
appeared in the 1993 and 1994 Hooters Calendar, as well as the 1994 Hooters
card set and Women of the World card set that same year. As one can see,
1994 was a hefty year for Leeann, who was bursting with offers. Who was next
to come calling? None other than Hef himself, as Leeann made her Play boy
cover girl debut. Since Leeann was a pro at modeling lingerie, the exotic
beauty also appeared on the cover of Play boy's Book of Lingerie in
November/December 1994. In 1997, Leeann moved on to a whole new genre of
posing, as the model for the lead character in the comic book, Coven 13,
courtesy of No Mercy Comics. That same year, she appeared in the Personal
Watercraft Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and the Frederick's of Hollywood Model
Calendars in 1997 and 1998, and modeled for Carushka Bodywear and the 1998
Leeann Tweeden Calendar.

Apart from holding the record for having graced the cover of Frederick's
catalogue the most, Leeann has also maintained a working relationship for
Play boy over the years, bearing more than her soul for the Bunny mag. Her
work for Play boy includes: Girls of Summer (1995), Book of Lingerie (1996),
Hardbodies (1996), Cover Girls (1997), Girls of Summer (1997), Book of
Lingerie in October and December of 1998, and Barefoot Beauties (1999).
Leeann has also made her presence felt on television, with an appearance on
EdenQuest (co-starring Pamela Anderson), Star Search (in the model
category), The Vicki Lawrence Show, Entertainment Tonight, and Jerry
Springer. Her most respectable and biggest break to date was her role on
ESPN2's (the network that made Kiana Tom famous) Fitness Beach, in 1996.

An avid dirt bike rider and traveler, Leeann spends January and May of
every year announcing Motocross events for Pace Motorsports. While she has
realized parts of her dreams, Leeann would love to become a female
sportscaster. She does, however, have her own column for Racer X
Illustrated, a motorcycle newspaper which also featured a layout of hers.
Leeann hosts Bluetorch, a television show showcasing extreme sports such as
surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. Covering everything from lingerie,
playing cards and comics, to fitness and bikes, Leeann has been romantically
involved with road racer Ben Bostrom and surfer Shane Dorian.

star sing. After receiving a couple of other offers, the bright young star
decided to sign a deal with Sony Music and tour with Backstreet boys. Her
debut single, 'Candy', sold half a million copies. Sales of 'Candy' were
enough to convince 550 Music to rush release of So Real, her debut album in

box-office success.

Molly Sims

Name : Molly Sims

Date of Birth : May 25, 1974

Place of Birth : Memphis, Tennessee, USA

Home : New York City

Nationality : American

Hair Color : Dark Blonde

Eye Color : Green

Height : 5' 9 1/2

The first word that comes to mind when looking at Molly Sims career is
diversity. She's been a top model for almost a decade now, doing the catwalk
thang, plus she's appeared in too many pages of glossy magazines and also
starred in advertising campaigns for luxuries including jeans, perfumes and
anything else you'd care to look or smell good wearing.

Furthermore, she's successfully made the move from modeling to TV, which
so many top models aim for, but rarely get.

Although it's sometimes an unfair stereotype, it is often true that your
average supermodel has average intellect, which, it must be said, doesn't
always sit well with on-screen producers.

This is where the very bright and smart Molly comes in, two of the
reasons she was cast for the role of host on MTV's House Of Style series.

The TV show is essentially about new fashion and youth trends, which
kicked off way back in 1989, when 'big hair' was hip. The original host was
none other than Cindy Crawford. Molly has also been a reporter on the US
tabloid show, Entertainment Tonight.

It's easy to understand that she is no ding-bat, as she studied Law at
the Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.

One of Molly's most oft-used quotes shows that she's also a realist: "Be
yourself, fill your life with good people, and don't get a big head. It can
all be gone tomorrow." Spoken like a true celebrity scholar...

But where did it all start? Born in a town called Murray, in the American
state of Kentucky, where that big horse race happens, she grew up as a
swimmer.

In fact, she was a competitive swimmer for some 10 years during her youth
- probably one of the reasons why she still looks so radiant today.

While studying law at the aforementioned Vanderbilt University in
Tennessee, one of her close friends saw something special in Molly.

Usually it's dorky-looking talent scouts who prowl beaches and malls that
uncover top models, but whatever prompted her friend to suggest that Molly
get some professional photos done, it was to be the start of her modeling
career.

The portfolio of photos were sent to Next modeling agency and soon after,
she was signed on as a model. Simple, really...

Leaving law school behind, Molly flew to London where she worked for a
few years, getting to grips with what can be, at times, a very cut-throat
industry. Before long, she was appearing in Elle, Vogue, Madame and Figaro
magazine - many of them for the front cover!

From here things went from good to great, with a spate of TV ads. She
worked with the likes of Chanel, Armani and Nautica, and later back in
America she appeared in the sexy Victoria's Secret lingerie catalogue.

More recently, however, Molly has appeared in 2001 and 2002 Sports
Illustrated Swimsuit issues, and once you've made SI's Swimsuit edition, you
know you've hit the big time!

Molly Sims lives in New York, New York and is known to be a big fan of
yoga, but not yoghurt. She was recently hosting MTV's House Of Style, which
is said to have been through a complete revitalisation since she came on
board.

With an ability to boost the ratings of TV shows, thanks in large part to
her sharp wit and amazing figure, Molly Sims is testament to the fact that
yes, those who start a career in modeling can do more than just look nice in
skimpy chiffon outfits.

Monica Bellucci

Name : Monica Bellucci

Birth Date : September 30, 1968

Birth Place : Citta di Castello, Perugia, Italy

Height : 5' 9

Education : Drop-out of law school University of Perugia in Italy

Nationality : Italian

Profession : Actress, model

Claim to fame : as Nat la gitane in Dobermann (1997)

Fan Mail : Nick Styne - Creative Artists Agency 9830 Wilshire Blvd.
Beverly Hills, CA 90212-1825 USA

Monica Bellucci was born on September 30th, 1968, in the village of Citta
di Castello, in Umbria, Italy. Initially pursuing a career as a lawyer,
Monica decided to start modeling in order to help pay for her tuition while
at the University of Perugia. But of course, the glamorous life of a model
-- which includes travel and a sweet income -- tempted Monica away from her
law studies. In 1988, Monica moved to one of Europe's fashion centers --
Milan. There, she signed with Elite Model Management and found plenty of
modeling work. By 1989, Monica was making it big in Paris and across the
Atlantic, in New York. But although she had achieved huge success in so
little time as a model (posing for Dolce & Gabbana and French Elle), Monica
thrived for more.

Monica's classic and elegant good looks are matched only by an equally
sophisticated and refined fashion sense. She made her film debut in 1990,
with roles in Vita coi figli and Briganti (a.k.a Bandits: Love and Liberty).
The following year, Monica starred as Francesca in the film La Riffa, and
made her American film debut with the role of Dracula's Bride in 1992's Bram
Stoker's Dracula, co-starring Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. Roles began to
pour in for the Italian beauty. After a role in Ostinato destino, she
appeared in I Mitici (a.k.a. The Heroes) in 1994, and Palla di neve in 1995.
She also starred as the Pharaoh's wife in the made-for-TV movie, Joseph. But
it was her role in the 1996 film, L'Appartement, that earned Monica her
acting accolades. In 1997, Bellucci was cast in Come mi vuoi (a.k.a As You
Want Me), Dobermann and Mauvais genre. After roles in more European films
such as 1998's L'Ultimo capodanno, A los que aman, and Compromis, she
starred in 1999's Comme un poisson hors de l'eau (a.k.a. Like a Fish Out of
Water). But it was the critical success of the Italian film Malena (2000),
in which Monica starred in the title role, that really catapulted her to
fame. In 2001, Bellucci starred in Brotherhood of the Wolf (co-starring her
husband Cassel) and as Cleopatra in Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatre. The
following year she starred in Tears of the Sun, with Bruce Willis, and of
course, as Persephone in the highly anticipated sequels to 1999's The
Matrix. In 2004, Monica Bellucci was seen as Magdalene in Mel Gibson's
controversial blockbuster, The Passion of the Christ, and returned to French
film with Agents secrets. She can also add 2004's The Brothers Grimm (with
Matt Damon and Heath Ledger), Spike Lee's She Hate Me, and 2005's Lord of
War (with Nicolas Cage) to her filmography.

With over 20 movies to her credit she isn't a novice to film,
unfortunately her fame comes from Italian cinema. Monica has not benefited
from the Hollywood marketing machine that movie studios are capable of.
Although the model-turned-actress has reached incredible heights in both
streams of her career, she still dreams of working with the legendary Robert
De Niro. Critics are quick to compare Monica Bellucci to previous Italian
beauties, but she has her own brand of sensual style. With roles as a
topless vampire in "Dracula", and her recent role as a sci-fi vixen in the
Matrix sequels, Monica has proven to be a bold blend of a seductive actress
and a talented star.

Morgan Webb

Name : Morgan Webb

Birth Name : Morgan Ailis Webb

Date of Birth : October 5, 1978

Place of Birth : Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nationality : Canadian

Occupation : TV Host & Producer

Nickname : Webbie

Morgan Ailis Webb (born October 5, 1978 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is
co-host and senior segment producer of the G4 (formerly G4TechTV) television
program X-Play with Adam Sessler, and the "Gaming Goddess" of FHM, where she
contributes a monthly video game column. She previously appeared on The
Screen Savers on TechTV. Morgan was born in Toronto, however, she and her
family moved to Los Angeles, California soon after. As a result, she holds
dual-citizenship between America and Canada. As an infant and small child,
Webb appeared in advertisements for Gerber baby food, Kenner Toys, and most
famously, an ad for McDonald's, where she recited the ingredients of the Big
Mac to a game of Pattycake. Ironically, Webb's parents refused to let her
watch television as a child, so she made up for lost hours of television
time by playing video games. She began with an Atari, primarily the game
Combat, but as technology progressed, The Legend of Zelda and Phantasy Star
became two of her favorite games. Webb graduated from North Hollywood High
School in 1996 with Highly Gifted Magnet honors. After graduating high
school, she left home to attend UC Berkeley. While there, she earned a
bachelor's degree in rhetoric and a minor in Italian.

Webb developed computer skills in her free time at Berkeley, and after
graduating from college, worked for a dot-com company as a website
administrator. After the company went under during the dot-com bubble burst
of 2000, her friend Catherine Schwartz pulled her in at TechTV in 2001 and
Morgan became employed as the associate producer and web researcher for The
Screen Savers. Thanks to her extremely vast self-taught knowledge of
computers and technology, she was quickly promoted to an on-screen member of
the program where she presented daily in-depth segments dealing with
Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, and on select occasions
hosted The Screen Savers herself. Throughout 2002 and 2003, she also
regularly co-hosted Call For Help with Chris Pirillo. In April 2003, Webb
left The Screen Savers to co-host X-Play with Adam Sessler. In April 2004,
Webb, along with fellow TechTV personalities Sarah Lane, Laura Swisher,
Catherine Schwartz and Melanie Kim, was included in the "TechTV's Sexiest
Techie" poll sponsored by Playboy magazine. TechTV viewers could vote for
their favorite girl via the Playboy website, and the winner of the poll
would be offered a nude photo spread in a future issue of Playboy. Webb won
the poll, and despite being "very flattered" by the photo shoot offer, she
immediately refused, citing her own personal reasons, as well as her
parents' objection to the idea. Throughout 2004, Webb was featured in
numerous issues of FHM and Maxim magazines. * She was spotlighted in the
July 2004 issue of Maxim. * She had a five-page feature article in the
November 2004 issue of FHM. * She was chosen as one of FHM's one-hundred
sexiest women in the world for 2004. * She was rated number thirty-nine on
Maxim's 2004 list of the fifty most eligible women in the world. In August
2005, Webb became a contributing game columnist for FHM, alongside her
regular hosting duties on X-Play. Her monthly column is entitled "Ask The
Gaming Goddess"; readers are encouraged to email Morgan their video
game-related inquiries, she answers one question each month.

Webb has appeared in the music video Strange New Element from the band
Low Water. She makes her appearance near the end of the video alongside
other fellow TechTV personalities, including Catherine Schwartz, Sarah Lane,

Naomi Watts

Name : Naomi Watts

Birth Date : September 28, 1968

Birth Place : Shoreham, England, UK

Height : 5' 5

Nationality : British

Profession : Actress

Relationship : Heath Ledger (actor; born on April 4, 1979; split)

Best Known As : The star of The Ring

Born in Britain and raised in Australia, Watts began acting in her teens,
landing her first film role in For Love Alone (1986). Watts subsequently
appeared with future Hollywood headliners Nicole Kidman and Thandie Newton
in John Duigan's disarming teen romance Flirting (1991). Watts's next film
with Duigan, Wide Sargasso Sea (1992), was not so well received. After her
first taste of Hollywood with Joe Dante's schlock movie homage Matinee
(1992), Watts nabbed a starring role as Jimmy Smits's disturbed student in
George Miller's little seen courtroom drama Gross Misconduct (1993). Watts
then starred as Jet Girl to Lori Petty's Tank Girl (1995), but the science
fiction fantasy suffered an ignominious box office fate. After a series of
TV movies and thrillers, including Sleepwalkers (1997) and Children of the
Corn IV (1996), Watts appeared in Marshall Herskovitz's high-toned Venetian
courtesan costumer Dangerous Beauty (1998) and successful TV docudrama The
Hunt for the Unicorn Killer (1999).

Watts's breakthrough finally arrived when David Lynch cast her in his ABC
pilot Mulholland Drive. Though ABC canceled the project in 1999 after Lynch
turned in a typically mood-drenched work, StudioCanal financed its
transformation into a feature that debuted to acclaim at Cannes in 2001. A
Los Angeles dreamscape akin to Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive featured Watts
as the blonde half of a female duo caught in a mystery of shifting
identities. Drawing attention for her not-for-network TV love scene with
co-star Laura Harring, Watts also earned praise as a rising "new" actress.

Though Mulholland Drive didn't exactly set box office records, Watts's
tour-de-force dual performance earned her numerous accolades and critics'
awards, igniting her career. Working steadily in the wake of Mulholland
Drive, Watts scored a box office as well as critical success a year later
with The Ring (2002), the Hollywood remake of the Japanese horror
blockbuster. Starring Watts as an intrepid reporter investigating the
origins of a lethal videotape, The Ring overcame studio doubts to become a
sleeper hit, solidifying Watts's new star status. Watts subsequently donned
period dress for the Showtime western The Outsider (2002), and to co-star
alongside fellow Aussie Heath Ledger in The Kelly Gang (2003). Balancing her
genre work with potentially headier fare guided by notable directors, Watts
also appeared with Kate Hudson, Glenn Close and Stockard Channing in the
Ismail Merchant - James Ivory romantic comedy Le Divorce (2003), and won a
leading role opposite formidable actors Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro in
Alejandro González Iñárritu's 21 Grams (2003).

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman

Name : Natalie Portman

Date of Birth : 9 June 1981

Place of Birth : Jerusalem

Birth name : Natalie Hershlag

Height : 5' 3

Profession : Actress

Fan Mail : Natalie Portman C/O ICM 8942 Wilshire Blvd.

Pretty, petite and doe-eyed, the Jerusalem-born daughter of a fertility
doctor and an artist is now studying psychology at prestigious Harvard
University in Boston (she turned down a place at Yale) – and it doesn't seem
to have damaged her career in the least. Born on June 9, 1981, Natalie has
long been on the serious side, deciding to become a vegetarian at the ripe
old age of eight, taking time to learn three additional languages (French,
Hebrew and Japanese) and making her Broadway debut while earning
near-perfect marks as a full-time high school student.

Portman moved to New York when she was three. Raised on Long Island, she
was discovered by a modeling agent who signed her on the spot. Her modeling
stint led to an audition for Luc Besson's Leon. Due to her age (she was 12
when the film was cast), Portman was initially turned down for the lead role
of Mathilda, a girl who asks a hit man (Jean Reno) to train her as an
assassin to avenge her brother's death and falls in love with him in the
process. However, she ultimately won the part and her 1994 film debut earned
a number of positive notices. Portman then took on the role of Al Pacino's
step-daughter in another demanding film, Michael Mann's Heat (1995). She
followed this up with lighter fare as Jack Nicholson's daughter in Mars
Attacks! (1996). Going on the same year to make Woody Allen's musical comedy
Everyone Says I Love You, and continued to ride high with the success of her
third film of 1996, Beautiful Girls. Portman took on another title role with
her 1997 Broadway debut in The Diary of Anne Frank. She stayed with the show
until May 1998, during which time she received positive notices for her
performance. After lending her voice to The Prince of Egypt (1998), Portman
took on her most talked-about role to date, that of Queen Amidala in The
Phantom Menace (1999).

Natalie has also gone her own route in her film career – in fact, one can
learn almost as much about her from the films she has turned down as from
the ones she's accepted. She passed on Baz Luhrmann's Romeo And Juliet
because, at 15, she wasn't comfortable with the on-screen love affair with
22-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio. She also rejected two other sexy film offers:
the steamy teen seductress in Lolita and Christina Ricci's sexually-charged
part in The Ice Storm because it was "too dark". Though she's found a level
of success which many aspiring actresses can only dream of, it's clear
Natalie won't settle for just being a beautiful Hollywood starlet.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman

Name : Nicole Kidman

Date Of Birth : June 20,1967

Place of Birth : Honolulu, Hawaii, USA

Sign : Gemini

Education : High school dropout

Occupation : Actress

Ex-Husband : Tom Cruise

Kids : Connor, Isabella

Father : Antony (biochemist)

Mother : Janelle (nursing instructor)

Sister : Antonia (TV reporter)

Fan Mail : C/O Creative Artists Agency 9830 Wilshire Blvd Beverly Hills,
CA 90212 USA

An actress who was relegated to playing decorative parts for years and
was known primarily for her real-life role as the wife of Tom Cruise, Nicole
Kidman spent the latter half of the 1990s finally earning the critical
respect she deserved. Standing a willowy 5'11'' and sporting one of
Hollywood's most distinctive heads of red hair, the Australian actress first
came to the attention of a wide American audience with her role opposite
Cruise in Days of Thunder (1990), but it was not until she starred as a
homicidal weather girl in Gus Van Sant's 1995 To Die For that she began to
be regarded as a performer of considerable range and talent. Although many
assume that Kidman is a native of Australia, she was actually born in
Honolulu, Hawaii, on June 20, 1967. Her family, who lived on the island
because of a research project Kidman's father, a biochemist, was involved
with, subsequently moved to Washington, D.C. for the next three years. After
her father's project reached completion, Kidman and her family -- which also
included her mother, a nurse/educator, and a younger sister -- moved to her
parents' native Australia. Raised in the upper-middle-class Sydney suburb of
Longueville, she grew up with a love of the arts, particularly dance and
theatre. Trained in ballet from the age of three, Kidman made her acting
debut in a nativity play when she was six. By the age of ten, she was
studying acting in drama school, and she went on to train at the St.
Martin's Youth Theatre in Melbourne and at Sydney's Phillip Street Theatre.
An awkward, gawky teenager who was teased relentlessly because of her
height, Kidman took refuge in the theatre, and she landed her first
professional role at the age of 14, when she starred in Bush Christmas
(1983), a TV movie about a group of kids who band together with an Aborigine
to find their stolen horse. This was followed by a role in another adventure
film, BMX Bandits (1983), and a number of TV movies. Kidman's first
breakthrough came when she was asked to star in Vietnam, a miniseries
directed by John Duigan; the actress won positive notices for her portrayal
of an awkward 1960s schoolgirl who matures into an idealistic 24-year-old
Vietnam war protester. She also won an American agent, something that opened
quite a few doors of opportunity. In 1989, Kidman got another major break
when she was tapped to star in Phillip Noyce's Dead Calm. A psychological
thriller about a couple (Kidman and Sam Neill) who are terrorized by a young
man they rescue from a sinking ship (Billy Zane), the film helped to
establish the then-19-year-old Kidman as an actress of considerable mettle.
That same year her reputation was further boosted by her starring
performance in the made-for-TV Bangkok Hilton, which cast her as a young
woman incarcerated in a Thai prison on false drug smuggling charges. By now
a rising star in Australia, Kidman began earning recognition across the
Pacific. In 1989, she was picked by Tom Cruise for a starring role in her
first American feature, Tony Scott's Days of Thunder (1990). The film, a
testosterone-saturated drama about a racecar driver (Cruise), cast Kidman as
the neurologist who falls in love with him. A sizable hit, it had the added
advantage of introducing Kidman to Cruise, whom she married in December of
1990. Following a role as Dustin Hoffman's moll in Billy Bathgate (1991),
and a supporting turn as a snotty boarding school senior in Flirting (also
1991), John Duigan's wonderful and criminally little-seen coming-of-age
drama, Kidman collaborated with Cruise on their second film together, Far
and Away (1992). Despite their onscreen pairing and some gorgeous
cinematography, the film got only a lukewarm reception, and Kidman's
subsequent projects, My Life and Malice ( both 1993), were similarly
disappointing. Batman Forever (1995), in which she played the hero's love
interest, fared somewhat better, but it did little in the way of
establishing Kidman as a serious actre

Paz Vega

Paz Vega

Name : Paz Vega

Birth Name : Paz Campos Trigo

Date of Birth : January 2, 1976

Place of Birth : Sevilla, Spain

Height : 5' 8

Nationality : Spanish

Profession : Actor

Claim to Fame : as Lucia in Sex and Lucia (2001)

Paz Vega was born on January 2, 1976, in Seville, the Spanish town famous
for Carmen and singing barbers. The slender and athletic Paz first dreamed
of being a sports star and later took interest in politics. At age 15, all
it took was a day at the theater to cement her ambitions; a performance of
La Casa de Bernarda Alba set her sights on acting for good.

At 16, Paz left school and patiently waited for the prestigious Centro
Andaluz de Teatro acting school to accept her. After two years at the acting
school and another two studying journalism, Paz moved to Madrid, where she
sought fame. She changed her name to Paz Vega (her grandmother's last name)
and worked in bars while auditioning for every acting job she could.

Paz's first big jobs came on TV, where she appeared in three episodes of
the Spanish series Menudo es mi padre, and in two other series, Mas que
amigos and Companeros. In 1999, Paz got her first major movie role in
Zapping, in which she played a hot sex-loving vixen who snagged another
woman's husband. That same year, she had a minor part in Sobrevivire (I Will
Survive), which got people noticing her.

Paz then returned to television with the career-making role of Laura in
the series, 7 vidas. It was this role that endeared her to all of Spain.
Filmmaker Mateo Gil liked Paz so much that he gave her a major part in his
movie Nadie conoce a nadie (Nobody Knows Anybody, 1999). As she juggled TV
and movies, she quickly learned the inner workings of the film industry.

Movie director Julio Medem saw her potential and asked Vega to leave her
TV role to dedicate herself to his new project. His film would be
provocative, steamy and sensual, so he needed just the right actress. In
2001, Lucia y el sexo (Sex and Lucia) hit theaters. It told the story, in
graphic and lurid detail, of an innocent girl who slowly discovers her
sexuality. Paz appeared nude, acting with her whole body in a gush of
sensuality. Sex and Lucia became an international hit and won Paz a Goya,
Spain's biggest movie award, for Best New Actress.

With the success of Sex and Lucia, Vega was courted by the biggest names
in the film industry. Spain's most important director, Pedro Almodovar, gave
her a part in his award-winning film Hable con ella (Talk to Her, 2002).
Soon after, she was seen in the musical romantic comedy, El otro lado de la
cama (The Other Side of the Bed, 2002).

After two more movies, including a rendition of Carmen in 2003, Paz
started being coveted abroad. James L. Brooks, of The Simpsons and As Good
as It Gets, signed her for his new directing project, a comedy called
Spanglish, with Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni. This movie will no doubt raise
her profile in the U.S. and she will hopefully be seen in more American
movies. After Spanglish, Paz can be seen in 2005's Un angel en la oscuridad
in the pipeline.

Paz Vega currently lives in Madrid, Spian with husband Orson Salazar.

of Spanish ballet. Her studies took her to four years of Theatre at Cristina
Rota's school in New York.

She broke into acting in 1992. That year, she had starring roles in Jamón
Jamón and Belle Epoque. Jamón Jamón (Ham Ham is the English title) cast her
as the desperately poor daughter of a village prostitute, while Belle Epoque
featured her as one of four lusty daughters of a wealthy man in pre-Franco
Spain. Belle Epoque was a critical smash, winning nine Goya Awards, which is
essentially the Spanish equivelant of the Oscars, and it did win an Oscar
for Best Foreign Film. The success of this film thrust Cruz into the
International spotlight, proving to be a huge stepping stone towards
success.

It wasn't until 1998, however, that Cruz had her first starring role in
an English language film. She played the Mexican-American love interest in
Stephen Frears' The Hi-Lo Country. Cruz donated her entire salary from this
film to Mother Theresa's charity. Later in the year, she had another English

second appearance in the magazine that has launched several modeling
careers. In addition to her work for SI, the Next agency model has graced

Education : Toms River High School North (class of 1994) Ohio University
(majored in Acting; graduated in 1998; summa cum laude; B.F.A.) LaMama

Nationality : American

Occupation : Actress

Claim to fame : as Violet in Coyote Ugly (2000)

Piper Perabo was born in 1977 in Toms River, New Jersey, the daughter of
an English Professor, and attended Toms River High School North. After high
school ended, Piper headed off to Ohio University, where she studied acting.
She graduated in 1998 with a BFA in acting. She took off to New York, where
she was going to try and make it as an actress. Her career was slow to
start, so Piper, had to start working at a bar to make ends meet. Meanwhile,
she was working and studying at the LaMama Theatre right in the city. She
grabbed a couple of roles in low-budget films, but nothing noteworth. Low
budget films are nothing like the real thing.

Piper's first big role was the lead female part in the film Whiteboyz
(1999) in which she played the girlfriend of wannabe gangster rapper. That
role will pale in comparison to the big break she had when she was cast in
the role of Violet in the big budget Hollywood film, Coyote Ugly, a film
whose plot sounds a lot like Piper's own life moved from New Jersey to New
York and worked in a bar while waiting for a big break. Piper appears in the
recent release "Rocky & Bullwinkle" and is already busy with her next role
in the film Lost & Delirious which is currently being filmed in Canada. The
summer of 2000 may forever be remembered as Piper Perabo freakout season.
With a prominent role in the animation meets reality flick, Rocky and
Bullwinkle Perabo seems primed to seize the limelight. Perabo has already
demonstrated a taste for unconventional films, which makes her blossoming
career all the more exciting to watch, who knows what she'll do next.

Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson

Name : Rachel Bilson

Birthdate : November 13th, 1981

Birthplace : Los Angeles, California, USA

Birth name : Rachelle Jade Bilson

Education : Notre Dame Highschool (1999)

Height : 5' 4

Nationality : American

Occupation : Actor

Born in Los Angeles, California in 1981, Rachelle Jade Bilson was always
treated like a princess. Her older brothers and parents spoiled her from
birth and she grew up quite comfortably as a result. She had a natural flair
for dramatics even before hitting the stage or standing in front of a
camera. Her family encouraged her to put her attitude to use by becoming an
actress and so, when she was 7 years old, her parents helped their daughter
land her first role in the film, The Wrong Guys, with comedian Louie
Anderson. Rachel continued to audition for roles during her early years at
Notre Dame High School. Through the recommendation of a close friend, she
received a part in the seven-episode miniseries, Human Target. The role was
small, but it helped Bilson realize that acting was something she wanted to
do full-time. Following graduation, she pursued this new passion and hired
an agent, who helped get her foot in the door.

Rachel Bilson's first high-profile gig was on stage, in a production of
Bye Bye Birdie. She figured prominently in the play and used the experience
as a launching pad for two more theatrical productions: The Crucible and
Once Upon a Mattress. She had landed a solid role on a fantasy series called
It's True in 1998, but the show never took off because CBS couldn't find the
financing to air it. Despite this letdown, Bilson continued to plug away and
starred in a television commercial for Subway before finally coming into her
own. Bilson reached new heights in 2003, she appeared in an episode of Buffy
the Vampire Slayer and 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter
before landing the lead role in a short film called Unbroken.

Thanks to this exposure, Bilson was invited to attend an audition for
FOX's potential new hit, The O.C. The show was aiming to target the same
audience as previously successful shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and
Melrose Place. This was perfectly in line with Bilson's capabilities, whose
youthful, vibrant personality and sexy look impressed the producers of The
O.C.. They cast her as Summer Roberts, best friend of Marissa Cooper (played
by Mischa Barton) and spoiled beauty who personifies the "Valley Girl"
stereotype. Since the show's smashing debut in the summer of 2003, Bilson
has become a much-talked about new star and has been featured in such
magazines as Zink, Stuff, CosmoGirl, and YM. Rachel and co-star Adam Brody
play cute couple Summer and Seth on The O.C., but rumors are flying that
they're dating off-screen as well. Although they repeatedly deny any
romantic attachment, they've been spotted together all around town, shopping
in LA's trendy districts, hitting the clubs, and having major make-out
sessions!

Rachel's acting career began while attending Cambridge to study English. She
broke into acting with a role in Sean Matthias' "West End" revival of Noel
Coward's "Design for Living".

Rachel earned the attention of an international audience with her role as
the spoiled daughter of a sculptor in Bernardo Bertolucci's "Stealing
Beauty". This allowed Rachel to garner notice of her own, and this
recognition was furthered by her top billing opposite Keanu Reeves in "Chain
Reaction" that same year. Unfortunately, the big budget thriller was not a
box office success by any means and received an undeserving blow to her
acting ability.

Rachel returned to Britain to star as a hairdresser in the drama "I Want
You". She next appeared in the hollywood success, "Mummy", as Brendan
Fraser's damsel in distress. To further her triumph that same year, she
played yet another starring role in "Sunshine", Istvan Szabo's epic drama
about three generations of a family of Hungarian Jews. Rachel's subsequent
return was in the early 20th century drama, with "Enemy at the Gates", as a
Russian party official caught between the affections of a Russian American
sniper. Rachel is a stunning and popular actress that we are sure to see a
lot more of in the years to come.

Rosario Dawson

Name : Rosario Dawson

Birth Date : May 9, 1979

Birth Place : New York, USA

Height : 5'7

Nationality : American

Profession : Actress

Rosario Dawson was born May 9, 1979, in New York City. She was raised in
a Manhattan tenement building by her Bronx-born mother, a professional
vocalist, and her father, who worked in construction. Dawson attended an
alternative school in downtown Manhattan, where she harboured aspirations of
one day becoming a marine biologist. When she reached age 15, however,
Dawson's career plans unexpectedly changed. She was literally cast off the
street for the role of Ruby in the 1995 production Kids, after director
Larry Clark spotted her on the stoop of her apartment building. Kids depicts
24 hours in the life of a group of New York street kids and the havoc that
runs through their lives. Kids went on to become a controversial hit, and
Dawson opted out of her college plans, choosing instead to attend the Lee
Strasberg Theatre Institute.

The training Dawson received at the Strasberg Institute complemented the
publicity that Kids had earned her, and it wasn't long before she received
her second casting call, this time from Spike Lee for his 1998 film, He Got
Game. That same year she appeared in Side Streets, which features a series
of vignettes depicting life throughout New York City. Dawson appeared in
three more small-time films: as an honour student held hostage in Light It
Up, a pothead in Down to You, and a bully in King of the Jungle. Although
none of these projects were box-office hits, they provided Dawson with the
exposure crucial to a young actress, and the jobs kept coming. Before the
end of 2001, she managed to appear in three more movies: Sidewalks of New
York, Trigger Happy and Chelsea Walls, an Ethan Hawke production.

In 2002 she played Dina Lake, a beautiful earthling who has travelled to
the moon to further her singing ambitions in The Adventures of Pluto. This
role cast her opposite Eddie Murphy. She then starred opposite Will Smith
and Tommy Lee Jones in the hit sequel Men in Black II. Dawson was last seen
on the big screen starring in the critically acclaimed Spike Lee film, The
25th Hour. Between films, Rosario Dawson juggles a relationship with
Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson and a growing proficiency at guitar,
which has been aided by lessons from one-time co-star Eddie Murphy.

Roselyn Sanchez

Name : Roselyn Sanchez

Date of birth : 2 April 1973

Place of birth : San Juan, Puerto Rico

Nickname : Popi

Height : 5' 7

Roselyn Sanchez is a rising, multi-talented young performer who has
already established herself as a leading actress in Hollywood. Sanchez
recently was seen in New Line's blockbuster hit Rush Hour 2 starring
opposite Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, playing the character Isabella
Molina, an undercover Secret Service agent. She received an ALMA Award
nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance.

Sanchez will next be seen starring opposite John Travolta, Samuel L.
Jackson and Giovanni Ribisi in Basic for director John McTiernan. This is a
Phoenix Pictures/Intermedia production in which Sanchez plays an elite
soldier for the U.S. Army Rangers. Her role in this action/adventure was
written for a man; however, after seeing Rush Hour 2, McTiernan was intent
on Sanchez playing the part.

Immediately following the release of Basic, Sanchez will hit the big
screen in the Forest Whitaker-produced film Chasing Papi for Fox 2000.

At the age of 19, the San Juan beauty was part of Puerto Rico's number
one comedy/variety show, Que Vacilon. When she turned 21, Sanchez took the
biggest risk of her life, leaving her family and blossoming career behind to
make her way to New York. She arrived barely speaking English, fueled only
by her love of movies, theater, dance, and song.

Once in New York, Sanchez immediately starred in two Spanish musicals,
landed a role in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns, and wrote and
preformed her own one-woman show, Out Here On My Own. She also auditioned
for the television show Fame L.A., and landed the lead role of dancer Lili
Arguelo (which subsequently moved her to Los Angeles). Roselyn tackled the
role with a passion and purpose that made her the show's most popular
character.

Other projects include a starring role in the Trimark release, Held Up,
opposite Jamie Foxx and Nia Long, and a police officer in the F. Gary
Gray-produced series Ryan Caulfield: Year One for Fox. Sanchez is also the
new spokesperson for the Pepsi brand Sierra Mist. The print/radio/commercial
campaign is being released in both Spanish and English markets.

Sanchez recently completed production on the independent film
Nightstalker, which is loosely based on the Richard Ramirez killings in
California during the 1980s.

Sanchez currently resides in Los Angeles.

A bona fide celebrity goddess in her native Mexico, Hayek emigrated in
1991 to Los Angeles, where she willingly plunged to the bottom of the heap
in order to take a shot at conquering Hollywood. Intensive lessons, both in
English and acting, paid handsome dividends in 1995, when the diminutive
dynamo lit a fire under Antonio Banderas in wunderkind director Robert
Rodriguez's balletic bullet ballad Desperado. Continuing to collect hunky
co-stars, Hayek struck sparks with a Baldwin brother in both Fair Game and
Fled, and made an undead love slave out of George Clooney in From Dusk 'Til
Dawn. Salma Hayek Internet shrines cropped up like weeds, and in 1997 the
sultry spitfire landed her first lead role in the States, playing opposite
Friends fave Matthew Perry in the cross-cultural romantic comedy Fools Rush
In.

The daughter of a Lebanese-descended father and a Spanish-descended
mother, Hayek was born and raised in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. Determined to
see that her grandchild develop into a ravishing beauty, her grandmother
frequently shaved young Salma's head and clipped her eyebrows, in the belief
that such treatments would add body and sheen to her granddaughter's thick
dark locks. Equally determined to see that she became well-educated, Hayek's
staunchly Catholic parents shipped her off to a boarding school in Louisiana
when she was 12. While the beguiling youngster proved both attentively
studious and properly religious, she also displayed a bent for mischief that
she chiefly directed against the long-suffering nuns who ran the school:
among other infamies, she once slipped into the faculty dormitory and set
all of the alarm clocks back three hours. The end result of such
she-nun-igans was that Hayek ended up suspended and carted back home after
just two years. It only took her two more years to finish high school, and
her mother, fearful of the effects ''college boys'' might have on her
impressionable young daughter, sent Hayek to Houston, where she lived with
an aunt until her 17th birthday.

Returning to Mexico once more, Hayek relocated to Mexico City to attend
college, where she commenced international relations studies. Though she had
harbored acting ambitions since childhood, Hayek had for years been
reluctant to seriously pursue such a chancy vocation for fear of alienating
her parents. Ultimately, she decided the path of the dutiful daughter and
stable career girl was one she could not bear to walk and frankly confronted
her parents about her aspiration. As she later told one interviewer, ''One
day I took my dad to lunch. I asked him if he believed in destiny and he
said, 'Yes.' And I said, 'Well, I believe it's my destiny to become an
actress.''' In spite of voluble objections from her family and the derision
and disbelief of her friends, Hayek quit college and determinedly embarked
on an acting career. She first found work in plays at neighborhood theaters,
including one assignment as the heroine of Aladdin and His Marvelous Lamp.
Several months of tireless stage work led to jobs making television
commercials, which in turn yielded a casting in Nuevo Amanecer, a popular
daytime TV serial. With no more experience than that to her credit, Hayek
got herself cast as the title character of a second serial, Teresa, the
phenomenal popularity of which almost immediately made its fetching young
star the most fanatically revered actress in Mexico.

Not content to settle for the comparatively meager rewards of
superstardom, Mexican-style, Hayek set her confident sights on Hollywood,
and moved north in 1991. What followed thereafter was a taxing period of
adjustment, beginning with an 18-month hiatus from acting that was primarily
occupied with English lessons. Also during that period, Hayek studied acting
under famed dramatician Stella Adler, and taught herself to drive a car: two
days of stick-shift driving convinced her to switch to automatic, and she
slowly acquainted herself with the tangled maze of L.A.'s freeways by
continually requesting directions from her more streetwise friends via her
trusty cellular phone. Hayek's first big break came in 1993, when she spent
four months auditioning for a headlining role in Allison Anders's
girlz-'n'-the-hood drama Mi Vida Loca. Anders eventually cast another
actress in the desired-for lead assignment, but Hayek's tenacity so
impressed the director that she gave her a smaller part in the film for the
express purpose of enabling the promising young actress to qualify for
membership in the Screen Actors Guild.

Other small roles followed, mostly on television, but it was an
appearance on a Spanish-language cable-access talk show that led to Hayek's
big breakthrough. While in the process of planning a sequel to his wildly
successful debut film, El Mariachi, Mexican-American director Robert
Rodriguez happened to tune in to Hayek's talk show appearance during a fit
of late-night channel surfing. Mesmerized by the lovely and engaging
actress, Rodriguez wasted no time tracking her down, and soon secured her
interest in tackling the female lead in his soon-to-be-produced big-studio
debut, Desperado. Rodriguez's financial backers initially resisted his
choice of Hayek, but the director won them over by showcasing her in his
made-for-cable installment of Showtime's Rebel Highway series, Roadracers. A
solid commercial success, Desperado also garnered Hayek rave reviews for her
show-stopping, saliva-inducing performance. Despite the fact she was
disappointingly underrepresented in her next two outings, in the limp
thrillers Fair Game and Fled, Hayek's performances nevertheless provided
much-needed zip for both projects, and 1997 found her nicely romantically
matched in both Fools Rush In and TNT's adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre
Dame, in which she portrayed Esmerelda to Mandy Patinkin's Quasimodo.

Hayek's film agenda continues to offer a steady diet of roles: She
followed her turn in the disco redux 54 with an appearance alongside Will
Smith and Kevin Kline in Wild Wild West, and co-starred with Ben Affleck,
Matt Damon, Chris Rock, Linda Fiorentino, and Alan Rickman in Kevin Smith's
Dogma. Through her Ventanarosa production company, she co-produced The
Velocity of Gary, an offbeat romantic comedy which teamed her with Ethan
Hawke and Vincent D'Onofrio, and another of her co-productions, the Mexican
feature No One Writes to the Colonel, was recently in competition at Cannes.
Hayek is currently filming the biopic Frida, in which she tackles a
much-coveted portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo.

On a more personal note, Hayek is romantically attached to actor Ed
Norton.

Hair : Brown

Parents : Jerry and Sharon Twain,( Birth father was Clarence Edwards)

Siblings : Jill, Carrie ann, Daryl and Mark

Husband : Robert John Mutt Lange

Occupation : Singer, Actress

Shoe size : 6 1/2

Shania Twain was born in Windsor Ontario Canada on the 28th August 1965.
Then she was known as Eilleen Regina Edwards.Just a few years later her
parents Clarence and Sharon were divorced. Sharon took the children up to
north to Timmins Ontario where she would marry an Ojibwa (Native Canadian)
by the name of Jerry Twain, he adopted Eilleen and her two sisters, Jill
(the eldest child) and Carrie ann (the youngest). Soon after they married
they had two more children, first Mark, then Darryl. The family grew up in
relative poverty and Shania's mother Sharon was often depressed. Sometimes
they would join the local native reservation to hunt for food, usually in
the winter months when there was no work and no money coming in. They would
often eat things that her friends and school mates wouldn't dream of eating.
But if they didn't eat things like deer and partridge, they simply would
have starved. And in redbook magazine in 1999 Shania talked about what it
was like back then, ''Most kids feel inferior if they don't have the right
jeans on, I was way beyond that. I was worried about what was in my lunch.
Nobody knew we were hungry, and I did everything I could to hide it.''
Shania would often take bread with mustard on, just to make it appear that
she had a lunch, terrified that the authorities would find out and take her
away from her family. But throughout all this Shania's mother was determined
to nurture her daughters obvious talent early on. When she was just 3 years
old she remembers her mother putting her up on counter tops to sing. Then
when she was just 8 years old she was performing her parents favorite
country songs in old people's homes and bars (after hours when they had
stopped serving liquer). Soon she was even appearing on TV shows. Behind all
this was the support of her parents, who wanted her to succeed. Sharon was
booking her in everywhere and Shania loved to sing, as her sister Carrie Ann
once commented, ''Shania would always be singing, even just walking down the
street. I'd be so embarrassed.''

From the age of 10 Shania was writing her own songs and dreaming of a
much better life. When she was in her teens she had a job at mcdonalds after
school, she worked on her dads reforestation business and at the age of 16
she played in her first band. A band named Longshot, ''We were pretty good
actually, pretty dangerous for my home town and pretty popular.'' (FHM 1998)

Music was Shania's life, she would skip classes in school to write songs
in the music room and after graduation she played in bar bands that played
anything from pop to rock. ''There's something more moving about music than
anything else in life for me, It's like a drug, I spent my teen years being
high on music.'' (redbook)

Then when she was 21 years old she moved from Timmins to work in Toronto,
secretary by day and singer by night. Until she got the call that would
change her life forever, when she was just 22 years old her sister rang her
with the terrible news that her parents had be killed in a car accident.
Both of her brothers were also in the vehicle and survived. This turned
young Eilleen's life upside down, ''Yes, you can lose somebody overnight,
yes your whole life can be turned upside down. Life is short. It can come
and go like a feather in the wind.'' (Country America 1998)

She went back home to be with her brothers and sister Carrie Ann, where
she would continue to help raise them until they were old enough to take
care of themselves. She moved them to Hunstville Ontario where she performed
at the Deerhurst Resort night after night, as a singer. She looks back on
this as good experience and a learning period, like going to music school,
which she never had a chance to do.

While at Deerhurst family friend Mary Bailey set up a meeting with some
guys from Nashville, who came to see her perform at Deerhurst. They invited
her to Nashville to cut a demo. Soon after, when her siblings had all left
the nest, she was offered her first recording contract with Mercury
Nashville. The first album wasn't a big success but it did gather attention
from a certain south african record producer called Mutt Lange. Then living
in England, he would watch CMT Europe for the lastest releases. One day he
happened to see Shania's video for 'What made you say that?' and immediately
wanted to know more. A friend in Nashville sent him Shania's CD. He
contacted Mary Bailey in the hope of getting to speak to Shania and in
return was sent a signed photo. He didn't give up however, and soon he and
Shania were talking on the phone on a regular basis and sharing song ideas.
They finally met at fan fair June 1993 and already were best friends. Over
the next few months they wrote songs together whenever they could and
eventually they found that they had fallen in love, on December 28th 1993
they were married. The next six years went like a whirlwind, two hugely
successful albums, co-written and produced by her husband Robert John Mutt
lange (The Woman In Me and Come On Over) and a high profile, highly
successful world tour. With Shania's enthusiam for life you can be sure
there is a lot more to come, ''You never know what's around the next corner,
but you have to be willing to explore it, '' she told Country America
magazine.

Come On Over is the biggest-selling country album of all time by any
artist, male or female, and is now tied as the fifth best-selling single CD
release, following The Eagles, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood
Mac. The soundtrack to ''The Bodyguard'' shares that slot with ''Come On
Over''.

But even with this much success Shania remains firmly grounded, attending
her high school reunion in summer 2000 without a bodyguard. She lives in
Switzerland with her husband Mutt Lange, loves horses and her dogs. She
tries to keep her life as normal as possible and dislikes being treated like
a star.

A rare breed of talent with a warmth that reaches her fans worldwide
because of her undeniable quality to interact with her audience in a down to
earth way. This makes Shania a people's person and a success story that is
sure to grow.

her family, which consisted of five brothers and sisters and many cousins. A
quiet child, Sofia studied a lot and took school very seriously. When her

her the greatest gift of all; her son, who is now 8 years old. After Manolo
was born, Sofia was set on becoming a dentist, but she was faced with a
change in career paths. Discovered by a photographer while walking down a
Colombian beach (Laetitia Casta was also discovered on the sands of a

attractive and glamorous than becoming a dentist, Sofia decided to try her
hand at modeling, three years after she began studying dentistry. Swiping
her dentist uniform for designer togs, Sofia's modeling career began. After
an appearance in a Pepsi commercial that was broadcast all over her native

Sung Hi Lee

Sung Hi Lee

Name : Sung Hi Lee

Birth Date : April 1, 1970

Birth Place : Seoul, Korea

Education : Elementary school;Ohio State University (spent three years in
an exercise psychology program)

Nationality : Korean

Occupation : Actress, model

Sung Hi Lee was born on April 1, 1970 in Eun-Pyung Gu (Gi-Ja Chon), a
borough of Seoul (South Korea). At the age of two Sung Hi's parents
divorced, leaving her and her younger brother to be raised by her
grandparents. In 1978 (February 19), during her elementary school years, she
and her brother moved to Chicago (USA) to be with their father. Sung Hi was
brought up in the Korean tradition of strict discipline. She got good grades
in school, but had a hard time of adolescence, with few friends. Her father,
an alcohohlic, wasn't good at supporting his daughter financially and
emotionally, providing his daughter with seven successive stepmothers. These
circumstances prompted the young Sung Hi to leave home on occasion and
contemplate suicide. Graduating with honors from high school, Sung Hi
abandoned a college scholarship due to a lack of money. After her
grandmother died, Sung Hi helped support her father and brother by
waitressing. From the windy city Chicago they settled successively in
Houston, Dallas and Washington D.C, and Columbus.

It was in 1988 at a Dallas nightclub where Sung Hi was discovered by her
future agent Jim Whitehead. In 1991 Sung Hi enrolled at Ohio State
University and spent three years in an exercise psychology program. One day,
she threw away her dream of being a doctor and left the university in favor
of full-time modeling in New York. However, with measurements of 5’4", 106
pounds, 33" B -cup bust (reshaped at some time as she has revealed), 23"
waist, and 33.5" hips, she was a bit short for the New York modeling scene
and frequently took the red-eye flight to Los Angeles jobs. At that time the
first photographs of Sung Hi appeared in Playboy’s Book of Lingerie. In 1995
Sung Hi participated in the Hawaiian Tropic Beauty Contest where she
represented Pusan (Korea) because Seoul was already taken by someone else.
Although she was only 3rd runner up, after winner Krista Frazier, her star
was definitively born. Even more, the contest led to her appearance on
advertisements for e.g. Hawaiian Tropics, Sunkist OrangeJuice, Chrysler
Plymouth, and Hilton Hotel.

In the same year she made the move to Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles,
she also made movie and silver screen contacts and landed a few parts on
Mortal Combat, Nurse Betty, and V.I.P. amongst others, as well as
advertisement spots. Sung Hi Lee hasn't forgotten her books and wishes to
pursue her degree in sports medicine. Soon after Pacific USA shot her for
their 1996 Pacific USA calendar and featured her on the cover. About one
year later, East Meets West calendars offered to produce her own personal
calendar in exchange for her agreeing not to appear in any other calendars.
Since then she has appeared in advertisements, magazines, video’s and movies
as we all know.

Torrie Wilson

Name : Torrie Wilson

Date of birth : July 24, 1975.

Place of birth : Boise, Idaho

Real name : Torrie Gruner

Height : 5'9

Weight : 133 lbs.

Torrie Wilson was born in Boise, Idaho on July 24, 1975. She was raised
in a small town north of Boise with a population of 2,500. As a child,
Wilson was rather shy but took comfort in her small community and began to
excel in cheerleading and track and field in high school.

As a sophomore, her mother encouraged her to pursue her interest in
modeling. When an agency owner informed her that she would have to drop some
weight in order to make it in the business, Wilson complied. Although she
lost the pounds, she also developed a serious eating disorder that haunted
her for four years. Offers came in after high school for contract work in
New York and Los Angeles, but Wilson decided not to stray from her hometown
roots.

Hesitant to get caught up in the fashion industry so soon after
recovering from an eating disorder and scared to leave what she knew behind,
Wilson set her sights on fitness. She decided to compete in the Ms. Galaxy
competition and after researching different publications, followed a strict
diet and exercise regimen. With overall health and fitness as her main
priority, Wilson found new life and placed in the top third in her first
competition.

With the help of a coach and a grueling regimen, Wilson achieved her goal
of victory at the Ms. Galaxy competition in St. Petersburg, Florida. Many
magazine covers and pictorial work followed and Wilson became interested in
extending her talent further. She moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and began
taking acting classes. A friend introduced her to a reliable agent and
Wilson was able to avoid potential career suicide as a result. Instead,
another contact exposed her to the world of sports entertainment during a
WCW event. Wilson was fortunate enough to be allowed backstage where she
mingled with the performers. She was brought before the crowd with wrestler
Scott Steiner and made an immediate impression.

Wilson was enamored with the energy rush she got from the experience and
she was soon offered the chance to join the WCW family. She is now a member
of World Wrestling Entertainment and is intent on becoming a legitimate
actress one day.

Birth Place : Boston, Massachusetts

Birth Name : Uma Karuna Thurman

Education : Northfield Mount Herman School in Northfield, MA Amherst
Regional Junior High School in Amherst, MA. Professional Children's High
School in New

Occupation : Actress & Model

Nationality : American

Claim to fame : As Cecile De Volanges in Dangerous Liaisons (1988)

Fan Mail : 9057 Nemo Street Los Angeles, Ca 90069 USA

Uma Thurman had to break from her family’s core values to join the high
school cheerleading squad. Her offbeat bohemian Buddhist upbringing in India
and all over the United States made her a bit of an outcast among her
all-American teen peers, and the cheerleading helped bridge the gap. School
plays, though, were her favorite way to fit in, and she ultimately left her
Massachusetts boarding school at age 15 for a New York acting career. The
independent teen spent a year washing dishes and modeling to pay the rent,
until hired for a role in Kiss Daddy Goodnight (1987). Critics liked Thurman
far better than the movie, and casting directors took note. Her exotic good
looks served her well the next year for the part of a goddess in The
Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and for the steamy Dangerous Liaisons.

At 18, Thurman moved to England to escape Hollywood typecasting -- the
actor was more interested in a serious career than sex-symbol fame and her
growing over-obsessive fan base. In 1990, at age 20, Thurman married fellow
actor Gary Oldman. The couple divorced two years later. In 1990, too, she
was cast in Where The Heart Is, and the intelligent (but steamy) Henry and
June. She came solidly back to mainstream Hollywood, with a few independents
thrown in, with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (TV - 1991), Final Analysis
(1992), Jennifer 8 (1992), Mad Dog and Glory (1993), and Even Cowgirls Get
The Blues (1994). A role in the risky Pulp Fiction (1994) turned out to be a
smart career choice, for Thurman earned an Oscar nomination, a Golden Globe
nomination and an MTV movie award for her stellar performance.

She continued to mix sure commercial successes with less-sure art films,
going on to star in A Month By The Lake (1995), Beautiful Girls (1996), The
Truth About Cats and Dogs (1996), Batman and Robin (1997), Gattaca (1997),
Les Miserables (1998), and The Avengers (1998 - “winning” a Razzie Worst
Actress nomination and disappointing critics). She was busy off-camera in
1998 first marrying actor Ethan Hawke then giving birth to daughter, Maya
Ray. Thurman went off-Broadway the next year with The Misanthrope, and then
back to film with Sweet and Lowdown.

covers of TV Spielfilm in Germany and GQ in Italy. In fact, Vanessa is just
about everywhere you go in Italy, thanks to a wide-ranging series of
promotional ads and billboards. We're sure no one has any complaints about
her attempt to single-handedly keep the country beautiful. More than just
another pretty face, Vanessa made her big-screen debut in 2005 in the
Italian madcap comedy Natale a Miami. The story of two men who flee to
Florida for Christmas after being dumped by their wives was such a hit in
Italy that it outgrossed King Kong and The Chronicles of Narnia in its
opening weekend. Although it is unlikely to do much business beyond Italy,
the film has helped make Vanessa a star in her homeland thanks to her
hilarious role as an underage nympho.

Zhang Ziyi

Zhang Ziyi

Name : Zhang Ziyi

Date of birth : 9 February 1979

Place of birth : Beijing, China

Birth name : Zhang Zi Yi

Height : 5' 5

One of the hottest stars to emerge from China in recent years, Zhang Ziyi
stunned audiences with her debut performance in Zhang Yimou's 'The Road
Home'. The film went on to win the Silver Bear Award at the Berlin Film
Festival 2000, propelling Zhang Ziyi into the international limelight. Her
meteoric shot to stardom continued with Ang Lee's Academy Award winning
blockbuster, 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'.

Zhang Ziyi's interest in the performing arts originated in dance and
gymnastics. At age eleven, she was accepted to a secondary school affiliated
with the Beijing College of Dance and during the 4 years that she trained in
dance, she managed to pick up a number of awards. However, although a career
in dance seemed promising for the graceful Zhang, her growing interest and
enthusiasm for acting prevailed and she enrolled in the prestigious Central
Academy of Drama in Beijing.

She was soon discovered by Zhang Yimou, the internationally celebrated
director of 'Raise the Red Lantern' and 'Red Sorghum'. Zhang knew
immediately that Zhang Ziyi would be perfect for his new film, 'The Road
Home' (1999), and cast her in the role of a young girl in love with a
schoolteacher in rural China. Her performance was so assured that when Ang
Lee was casting actors for his high-profile martial-arts extravaganza,
'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' (2000) he immediately chose Zhang Ziyi for
the role of the impetuous aristocrat Jen Yu.

'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"s roaring success ensured that Zhang Ziyi
would become a familiar face to filmgoers, as the high-flying, graceful
martial artist who shared fight scenes with Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun Fat.
Her role garnered her the Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best
Supporting Actress in 2000 as well as the Most Promising Actress at the
Chicago Film Critics Association Awards. In 2001, she was awarded the MTV
Movie Award for Best Fight Scene and was voted one of People magazine's 50
Most Beautiful People in the World.

Zhang Ziyi's talents have since moved beyond her homeland, working in
Hollywood for 'Rush Hour 2' (2001) opposite the comedy duo Chris Tucker and
Jackie Chan, and starring in the ambitious Korean epic, 'The Warriors'. She
will next be seen in Tsui Hark's 'The Legend Of Zu' as well as Wong Kar
Wai's futuristic '2046'.
