Sienna Miller Engaged?

Actress is to marry boyfriend Rhys Ifans after his third proposal, according to reports.

The star is said to be planning a summer wedding with the 39-year-old actor, who first asked for Miller’s hand in marriage in August by sending her a cryptic message in Welsh, his first language, which read: “Marry the Misfit.”

He proposed for a second time in December at her 26th birthday party by hiding an engagement ring in a pile of gifts.

But it proved to be third time lucky for Ifans after Miller accepted his proposal earlier this month.

The couple, who have been dating for a year, is reportedly eager to keep their forthcoming nuptials low-key.

Charlize Theron and Anna Sophia Robb on ‘Sleepwalking’ and the Unglamorous Job of Low-Budget Filmmaking

Charlize Theron and Anna Sophia

Obviously, Charlize Theron the actress needs no introduction. But Charlize Theron the producer — who has, in a brief period of time, helped create some extremely serious-minded low-budget films — feels in many ways like a unique individual, distinct from her more glamorous alter ego. The evidence is on display in Sleepwalking, a stark indie film about a troubled mother (Theron) who abandons her young daughter (AnnaSophia Robb) in the care of her younger brother (Nick Stahl). What's most amazing about the film is that much of the heavy lifting is done by the young Robb, familiar to audiences from more kid-friendly fare like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We caught up with Theron and Robb, now 14, on a recent visit to New York.

Charlize, is it true that one of the key reasons for your agreeing to produce this film was AnnaSophia's performance?
Theron: In part. First of all, I had really liked the material, and Nick Stahl had read the script, and he wanted to play the brother. But we all realized that the part of the young daughter was going to be a huge part of this film. And we knew it was going to be very hard to find an actress of that age — this was very adult material, and it carries a lot of emotional weight. I didn't know if I would be able to see a film like this through to the end if we couldn't find that person. Then I met with my friend Stephen Hopkins, who had directed me in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. He had just made The Reaping with AnnaSophia and said she was amazing and that I should take a look at her. So I met with her and spent a couple of days playing around with the material. And we wound up not looking at anyone else for the part.

AnnaSophia, how did it feel to basically have to carry a film with such weighty subject matter?
Robb: It was hard, but I'm actually happy that this was my first film with this kind of heavy subject matter. And I appreciated this really safe environment that Charlize had created. Now I feel more comfortable with this sort of thing.

How did you prepare for it?
Robb: After I read the script, I talked a lot with Charlize. We had a lot of conversations over the phone, talking about the characters. And then once you get on set, that's what the whole world is about: read-throughs, talking about the characters. When you're on set, it's important actually to be able to break off from that at the end of the day and leave it behind.

So, is it safe to say that you're not in the Daniel Day-Lewis mold of living with your character day in and day out?
Robb: Obviously, I respect him a lot as an actor. But I'm not sure that's the right approach for me. I don't want to totally become my character, especially at such a young age. Acting is not the only thing. I need to have a life and enjoy it. Also it's important I think to have the imagination to create this person, and to be able to come back at the end of the day to who I really am.

Charlize, you started off producing with Monster, with which this film shares some similarities. Does being a producer on a film, especially a low-budget one like this, make it harder to also act in it?
Theron: Not really. I don't think producing makes anything harder. I don't really compartmentalize. It's all part of the same thing for me. There's an incredibly creative element to a producer's job. There has to be. I couldn't go up and start working six weeks before production if there wasn't. It's a huge amount of work, a huge amount of responsibilities, a huge amount of time you have to invest. But it feels effortless to me — that is to say, it feels like part of the whole creative thread of making the film.

How would you characterize yourself as a producer?
Theron: I don't know. I dislike hard work, but I feel blessed to be part of something creatively satisfying. I think I was spoiled on Monster, to be honest with you. There were no set rules about what I was supposed to do and not do. In the end, it was all about being truthful to the story, and I had to protect that. And that set the bar for me, in a way. Now I want it to be always that way. Because otherwise it's too much work. You spend three years of your life waking up at four in the morning.

AnnaSophia, you've done a lot of very different movies in such a short time. What's the best advice someone has given you about showbiz so far?
Theron: It definitely didn't come from me… [laughs]
Robb: You get different advice for different films. But a certain someone, who may or may not be in this room, did say that in the end it's all about telling a good story and doing good work that stays with people. It's just really that simple. —Bilge Ebiri

MTV preps Paris Hilton reality series

Paris Hilton
The high-profile hotel heiress, who parlayed sex-tape notoriety into A-list celebrity with The Simple Life on Fox, will appear in a 10-episode series tentatively titled Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.

In the new reality show, 20 contestants will live in a house and compete for the chance to learn how to live the celebrity life from Ms. Hilton. Viewers will be able to vote on potential contestants via a Web site

Production is set to begin in May, with the series scheduled to air in the fourth quarter.

MTV’s ratings have been on the rise on the strength of semi-reality shows such as The Hills and competition shows such as Making the Band, A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila and Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

The network thinks its latest addition will bring more heat to the channel, which once was in danger of becoming passé with young viewers.

Ms. Hilton, whose show moved from Fox to cable’s E! before it was canceled last year, became the subject of almost constant reporting after a series of traffic incidents led to her being jailed in Los Angeles last year. The coverage was so over-the-top that some news organizations declared a moratorium on publishing stories about her.

“It’s undeniable that the world is always talking about Paris Hilton, and the same could be said about MTV,” said Brian Graden, president of entertainment at MTV Networks Music Channels. “Paris is one of the most searched icons on the Web and has been the focus of everyone’s attention from TMZ to Forbes. Now MTV will reveal the life of Paris, turn her fans into friends and see what it takes to get close to one of the world’s most well-known personalities.”

The show comes from Ish Entertainment, the new production company set up by former VH1 executive Michael Hirschorn. Mr. Hirschorn and Stella Stolper will be executive producers along with Ms. Hilton.

Paris Hilton: All in a Day’s Work

Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is a busy girl! Between shopping for fabulous clothes, a photo shoot, and dinner with her uber-hot boyfriend Benji Madden, you gotta wonder when this girl stops to take a breath.

Last night, the “Simple Life” starlet attended a press conference for her new MTV show “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” at a private residence. She looked sultry in a black and silver evening gown, with plenty of fake bake tan to go around.

After business came pleasure- a romantic dinner at Mr. Chow with her main man, Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden. And for once Madden dressed it up a bit, adding a sport coat to his usual black t-shirt/black trousers look.

Earlier in the day the “Stars are Blind” singer made her way around Hollywood retailers Fred Segal and Marc Jacobs before heading to Beverly Hills for the real spending spree.

Anyone Interested In Becoming Paris Hilton's Best Friend?

Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is making a comeback in the reality TV business with a new show which was just approved by MTV.

It hasn't been long since the rumors sparked, and MTV just announced on Thursday that it has greenlighted a new reality competition series with the working title "Paris Hilton's My New BFF."

Now that Nicole Richie is busy being a mom, the former "Simple Life" star threw out the challenge to 20 men and women who will compete in the MTV reality show to be her new "BFF" (best friend forever). The contestants are set to live in a house where they'll learn how to live like a celebrity from none other than Paris herself. Viewers will be able to vote on potential contestants via a Web site beginning today.

Besides her role as their teacher, the 27-year-old socialite will also serve as an executive producer on the series, which is set to begin production in Los Angeles in May with an eye on a fall premiere.

"It's undeniable that the world is always talking about Paris Hilton, and the same could be said about MTV," Brian Graden, president of entertainment for MTV Networks Musical Channels, said Thursday. "Paris is one of the most searched icons on the Web…Now MTV will reveal the life of Paris, turn her fans into friends and see what it takes to get close to one of the world's most well-known personalities."

Britney Spears Says She "Hates Her Life"

Britney Spears

Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Britney Spears hates her life. The troubled pop star has reportedly divulged to her friends that she is bored of being stuck at home after dad Jamie prohibited her from going out to hang out.

Jamie, Britney's conservator, had apparently told the "Toxic" singer to stay away from nightclubs or hang out with the paparazzi. However, the tabloid princess is finding the restrictions too confining.

A friend of the music star reveals a text message sent to her by the star:

"I'm so bored. I hate my life."

The source continues, "She also sent a text saying, 'They keep taking my phone away. If my dad knows I'm talking to you he's going to be upset.'"

"She seems to genuinely miss the craziness. Sad as it is, she loved that life."

Jamie, who won temporary control of his daughter's estate, had vowed to help Britney get back on track. He had insisted that her lifestyle would have to be curtailed to a more sedate routine.

HIMYM Boss Talks Spears, Confirms Chalke!

How I Met Your Mother, Britney Spears

Just heard from How I Met Your Mother cocreator Craig Thomas about the casting of one Ms. Britney Spears to play receptionist/comic foil Abby on episode 14 of HIMYM this season. He says, "We're thrilled to have Britney Spears on the show. Britney is an exciting new talent, and we can't wait for the world to meet her. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to check out this 'Internet' thing everyone is talking about." Ha!

Craig was also good enough to comment on the casting of a certain Scrubs favorite, saying, "We couldn’t be happier to have Sarah Chalke joining us to play a new love interest for Ted, Dr. Stella Zinman. Not only is Sarah smart, funny and charming, but we already know she looks damn good in a lab coat."

Funny, our Ms. Chalke made it big when she stepped into the Roseanne cast to replace Alicia Goranson, and it wasn't until the role of Elliot Reid on Scrubs came along that she shed the sobriquet of "Second Becky." Lucky for her, now that she's stepped in to replace Alicia Silverstone on Mother, "Second Dr. Stella Zinman" just doesn't have the same ring to it!

Sarah Chalke, Alicia Silverstone, Britney Spears

Meanwhile, E! News has learned that Britney will be on the Fox lot today for more rehearsals in preparation for the taping of her HIMYM episode later this week.

Britney Spears stars as animated superhero

Pop star Britney Spears released a music video yesterday that features the singer as an animated superhero in a futuristic world.

The video was to premiere on at 6:30 p.m. to accompany her latest single, "Break The Ice" – the third from her 2007 album Blackout.

The release of the video, along with an upcoming acting role on How I Met Your Mother, marks something of a comeback for Spears, 26, whose career has been sidelined by psychiatric problems and bitter child-custody battles.

Spears's record company said the video was made in South Korea in Japanese anime style. Last year, Spears released two singles from Blackout. It has sold more than two million copies worldwide, which pales in comparison to her heyday six years ago.

In other Britney news, a lawyer who claims to represent her has filed an appeal challenging the conservatorship that gave Spears's father control of her personal and business affairs. The document states that Spears was not given the minimum five-day notice required by California law when control is sought over a person's assets or estate.

Britney Spears challenges 'conservatorship' ruling

Britney Spears is fighting the ruling that gives her father complete control of her estate and affairs until July.

The singer’s lawyer, Jon Eardley, is claiming that the conservatorship was granted without the necessary five days notice, and so is invalid, reports BBC News.

In early February, a California state court granted temporary conservatorship to James Spears until July, when the order will presumably be reviewed.

However, there is also some doubt as to whether Eardley can legitimately represent Spears as, under the rules of the conservatorship, the singer is unable to appoint her own legal personnel without the involvement of her father or his lawyer.

Spears has been in constant court battles since early January, when she refused to return her two children to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The stand-off resulted in two stays in a psychiatric hospital for Spears.

Spears approached TV sitcom for role

roubled pop star Britney Spears landed an appearance on her favourite US sitcom' How I Met Your Mother' after the singer's agent asked the makers to create a character for her.

Spears - who will appear as doctor's receptionist Abby - is a huge fan of the show, and deemed a guest role in the series a perfect assignment at this juncture of her turbulent career.

Creator Craig Thomas admits he was ecstatic when Spears' representatives contacted him, and was left in no doubt he had made the right decision to recruit her when she turned up for a script reading - and impressed everyone present with her acting talent and enthusiastic approach.

He says: "Britney's people ended up coming to CBS and expressing interest in our show, and we were thrilled. 'Britney Spears watches our show!'

"They said she was looking for a small part on a funny show, and she checked out our show and liked it. They were really receptive to the idea of bringing Britney in and just doing a funny role for her. It all came together really quickly - it was kind of shocking.

"She seemed to have a great time, and we had a great time working with her. It was just like really a normal table read."

Spears will shoot her scenes this week, with the episode scheduled for broadcast on US cable channel CBS on March 24.

Britney pays £500,000 custody costs

Britney Spears has already spent a million dollars (£500,000) on legal fees in her child custody case and objects to paying half a million dollars to ex-husband Kevin Federline's lawyers, her lawyer has said.

Attorney Stacy Phillips told a Los Angeles court that Federline's lawyers are entitled to only about 150,000 to 175,000 dollars (£75,000-£87,000).

She also says Federline has the ability to pay his lawyers on his own.

Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan says the case is unusually complicated and all the billing is legitimate.

Commissioner Scott Gordon has not yet ruled on the matter and the hearing is continuing behind closed doors.

Britney Spears a Prisoner: Home Life Blues

Britney Spears
Britney Spears is struggling with the whole allowance and living at home with dad situation that has risen up and kept her somewhat in line in the last few weeks. The one time wild child of Hollywood has been stuck in her own private prison, but according to OK! Magazine, at least it has a really good view.
The magazine has this week that even though Britney Spears lives in a $7.2-million, 7,400-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa, but the troubled pop princess feels like a prisoner in her own mansion.
The article notes that for the last six weeks, her dad has essentially grounded Britney. “I’m so bored, I hate my life,” she text-messaged a friend on March 5. Britney's life used to consists of trips in and out of court while losing her sons. She also has had several ambulance rides and has been placed on a 5150 hold for a time being while doctors examined her.

Perhaps she needs a bit of time at home. OK! Promises a cover story and teases online that they will report from inside the home that has become Britney’s jail, and reveals the strict schedule her dad has established to keep Brit in line.

Britney Wows CBS Producers

Britney Spears

At Tuesday's table reading for her small appearance on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother, Britney Spears reportedly made such a good impression with producers that they are now thinking of adding her to the show as a semi-regular cast member.

In the episode, Brit plays the role of Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist's office. Her endearing, sweet character falls head over heels in love with Ted, (Josh Radnor) who is desperate to have a tattoo removed.

After completing Tuesday's table reading, Brit heads back to work on Wednesday for rehearsals on the set and costume fittings. The actual episode tapes Friday night in L.A.

We smell a major career change!

Spears to appear in new music video as super heroine

Britney Spears

LONDON: Pop star Britney Spears is set to star in an animated music video as a bodysuit-wearing super heroine.

The promo for the upcoming single "Break The Ice" features a thin, cartoon version of Spears in a futuristic world, reports. Spears apparently came up with the idea and wanted it to be an animated version of her hit song "Toxic" promo. In that she played a flamboyant spy, assassin and air stewardess.

Spears is hoping for a comeback as she struggles with personal problems.

Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, March 11, 2008

It's twins. "Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting twins who would be their second and third biological children together," says UPI, backing an earlier piece.

And twins will be born in France. "Holywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to fly off to France where Angelina wants to give birth to their second biological child. According to a source, the couple who had their daughter Shiloh Jolie Pitt in Namibia in 2006 is now fleeing to France," Javno reports.

No, hang on, the twins will be born in Texas. "Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to give birth to their next babies in Texas. The famous celebrity couple who already have four children and have relocated to a 270 acre ranch near the rural town of Smallsville, Texas for the birth," writes oneindia.

Angelina Jolie: Admit that you’re Pregnant Already!

Showing off an increasingly large baby bump on the red carpets of prestigious Hollywood events (SAG Awards, Santa Barbara Film Festival etc.) is a sure-fire way to get the media talking about a potential pregnancy.

Is that what Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie want?

It appears that showing the public that she's pregnant is actually way easier than telling the public that she's expecting another baby with Brad Pitt (or at least we hope it's Brad's).

The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star can trot her growing figure to countless events and choose the most maternity like dresses but she can't come out and admit she's pregnant?

We could see the reasoning for a few weeks after finding out the exciting news (to make sure there were no complications with the pregnancy in the early stages) but she's got to be pushing at least six months.

Just admit that you're pregnant Angelina - nobody's buying your story anymore anyways!

Do you think it's about time Brad and Angie admit they're expecting again?

Lisa Marie Fights Back at “Vicious Personal Attack”

Lisa Marie Fights Back at “Vicious Personal Attack”

Lisa Marie Presley is frustrated and angry that her previously unannounced pregnancy has been turned into a reason of mockery at her expanding waistline and wishes to sue British newspaper the Daily Mail.

The daughter of music legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, is hurt that what was meant as a time of happiness for herself and her family turned into a situation where she had to defend herself against “vicious personal attack.”

Amid growing reports regarding her changing silhouette, Presley, 40, chose to reveal the real reason behind this – but she was not happy with the situation.

“After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant,” Presley wrote last Thursday on her MySpace Celebrity blog.

In the message titled “Confirmation under the gun,” she writes that she hopes all the tabloids will now back off and let her be. “It is unfortunate that I couldn't have announced something that is this much of a blessing and that has made us so incredibly happy under better circumstances,” the message continues.

Presley also found it within herself to apologize for the “contemptuous tone” of her writing and confessed that she had been “mortified” to see unflattering photos of herself.

Presley’s mortification also gives way to some litigation, People magazine is reporting. An article in British newspaper the Daily Mail seems to have angered her more than others, as it discusses her “unhealthy appetite” and how she “has gained weight like her father Elvis.”

Her lawyer, Simon Smith, issued a press release announcing the libel claim, saying: “My client is deeply upset and offended by this article, especially as it was widely published just as she and her family were meant to be celebrating her happy news.”

This is the first child for the singer-songwriter and her husband, guitarist and music producer Michael Lockwood, 46; they married in Japan in January 2006. Presley has two children, daughter Riley, 18, and son Benjamin, 15, with ex-husband Danny Keough.

Britney Spears' lawyer says K-Fed can pay own bill

If Kevin Federline can afford to tip a waitress two grand, he can pay his own legal fees, say lawyers for Britney Spears. Monday in a Los Angeles court, K-Fed pleaded poverty, saying his ex-wife should continue to pay his hefty law bill — $405,000 to be exact. In just four months, the acrimonious exes have racked up over a million dollars in lawyers' fees, all of which Brit is currently responsible for.

But Stacy Phillips, Britney's newest legal eagle, says that the once down-and-out Federline is more than capable of paying his own bills. "He needs to take responsibility for the diligent work being done on his behalf," she said.

Phillips told the court commissioner Federline should pay between $150,000 and $175,000 and claimed he omitted his $200,000 spousal- support checks from his earning declarations. Phillips also argued that Federline recently tipped a waitress $2,000 on a $365 bill, and has blown $20,000 on jewelry, phone calls and food while listing the charges as "business expenses."

Mark Vincent Kaplan, lawyer for Federline, says that Britney should not only keep signing his checks, but that the singer is actually getting a bargain. Said Kaplan: "If the court does not order [her] to pay, there cannot be a legal playing field. Our fees are far under the market level for the package you get."

He may be right. Spears' old law firm, Trope and Trope, charged her $630,000 for four months' work, while Federline's bill from Kaplan was about $250,000 less.

Spears didn't actually attend the hearing — her dad, Jamie Spears, executor of her estate, made an appearance. The pop tart may have been home preparing for her upcoming foray into television: CBS has confirmed that Spears will be a guest star on an episode of "How I Met Your Mother" this season.

Alba has eye for the hard yard

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba learned a little something about acting “discipline” when she did that TV show that made her a star, James Cameron’s Dark Angel.

“Three-hour-long workouts, every day, for two years,” she says of the 2000-2002 sci-fi series that had her playing a super-buff super warrior, all curves and spandex.

Tough? Sure. But that was nothing compared to what she had to put herself through for her latest, The Eye.

She plays a blind violinist who has her sight restored, only to see dead people in addition to the living ones.

She had to be convincingly musical. She had to be convincingly blind.

“I've never done anything this hard in my life,” says Alba, 26.

“Every orchestra musician I talked with told me, ‘Oh, it’s the hardest instrument to play’ - and they were right.

“Everything was a challenge, from the positioning of the violin on my neck to bowing. And I’m having to learn to do this with my eyes closed!”

For the fourth Alba movie to come out in the past 12 months, she had to find a little prep time.

And not just to watch the 2002 Japanese J-horror film she was remaking, either.

“The directors (David Moreau and Xavier Palud) are huge classical music fans.

First off, they gave me all these Mozart and Beethoven CDs to listen to.

“Then, I looked at lots of tapes of (violinist) Anne-Sophie Mutter.

I picked up a lot of things from just watching her, the way she holds her head, her posture when she's holding the instrument, her bowing, the look she gets on her face. So passionate!

“Then, I took six months of violin lessons. That was the killer. Vibrato (a pulsating variation in pitch) just, oh, it gave me the hardest time.

“Then, I visited the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Braille Institute’s Los Angeles’ sight centre to learn about blindness, to observe.

“I met this great girl, Jessica, a blind student at Boston University, followed her for a long time. Blindness is not a limitation to her, not that I could tell. She was focused, meticulous, wants to be face to face with you when you talk. If she’s wearing sunglasses, you can’t even tell she’s blind. She speaks three languages and has a level of determination about her that just inspired me.”

All because she wanted to follow her thriller, Awake, and raunchy comedy, Good Luck Chuck, and superhero adventure, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, with a horror movie.

“I’m a fan of the genre,” she says.

“But not those movies where women are just victims, you know. Tortured or whatever. This is just a good old-fashioned ghost story, with a new twist. Scary!”

Alba’s frequent inclusion on lists such as People’s 50 Most Beautiful and Playboy, Maxim, E! and Stuff’s world’s sexiest and her determination to work all the time have made her an easy target of the resentful.

And critics. Many of her recent films haven’t earned the best reviews, prompting the Golden Raspberry Foundation to nominate her for three Razzies this year for her last three films.

But they - we – won’t have Alba to kick around much, soon.

She’s pregnant, and if nothing else that will cut back on her productivity.

“I don’t know if I’ll want to go straight back to work after having the baby, or not,” she says of the child she is expecting with Cash Warren.

“We really are just winging it. I have no plan, no idea how I’m going to work the career around this motherhood thing.

“I do know this, though. Whatever I choose to do, professionally, it’ll have to be something I’m so passionate about that I can’t not do it.”

The Eye opens in Australia this week.

Feisty Jessica Alba rejects sex symbol tag

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba is expecting twins

SHE may look like a glowing, serene mum-to-be, but messing with Jessica Alba is not advisable. Kung fu, karate, Thai boxing, scuba diving all feature on Alba's fulsome CV.

Though her legion of male fans may beg to differ, the actress, 26, who is expecting twins, sees herself "more warrior than sex symbol".

The young star, best known for her role as Invisible Woman Sue Storm in the Fantastic Four franchise, famously insists on doing all her own stunts.

She has swum with real sharks, tumbled off bikes at high speed and, in pursuit of her craft, earned herself broken ribs, black eyes and bloody noses.

Rather worryingly, she has also said she'd rather ``slay a guy with my fists than knock him out with the way I look''.

"It makes me far more confident to know I can hold my own in a fight,'' Alba insists, "than it does to look in the mirror and think I look beautiful.'',23739,23345032-7642,00.html

Jessica Alba Gives Teens Advice
Jessica Alba is well on her way to becoming a new mom, but the 26-year-old actress has some advice for young girls when it comes to guys. "Boys are awful... They are made of nothing but hormones until they're 20 or 21," she says in an essay for the book If I'd Known Then: Women Under 35 Write Letters to Their Younger Selves, "It's fun to have a crush, but don't think it's forever... And use birth control and condoms please."

Though, it seems that some people are saying she's hypocritical for saying this considering she is pregnant and unmarried. But it isn't the first time Jessica's been called a hypocrite. Last year, she came under fire for saying she felt unconnected to her Latina roots. "Throughout my whole life, I've never felt connected to one particular race or heritage."

But the actress has since started singing a different tune and hopes her baby has some Latino traits. "I'm excited for my baby to be brown... I just shave to believe the dark gene is going to survive. Cash and I are like, please!"

Motherhood must suit CHRISTNA AGUILERA as since giving birth two months ago she has been propelled up FHM's sexiest women list.

The singer's post pregnancy curves have attracted 15,000 votes in the past week alone, ensuring her a place in the lists top 25.

Another yummy mummy MYLEENE CLASS has also garnered the approval of the magazine's readers and made the top 50 for the first time.

However, expectant mothers did not fare so well with glamorous mum-to-be and last year's list topper JESSICA ALBA plummeted down in the rankings alongside pregnant stars ANGELINA JOLIE and NICOLE KIDMAN.

FHM's deputy editor Chris Bell said: "There has been a huge burst in voting for new mothers. Men are obviously attracted to the benefits of a post-natal flush. If you've seen Christina Aguilera recently, you'll probably understand why."

Recently, newsstand sales for an edition of People magazine featuring Christina and her son Max were beaten by an edition bearing fellow new mum NICOLE RICHIE and her daughter on the cover.

Although official figures are yet to be confirmed, it is thought that Richie's cover was on target to sell 1.8 million copies, while the DIIRTY singer's sold far less.

A magazine insider told MSNBC's The Scoop that the controversy surrounding Nicole ensured that her cover was a bestseller.

In Harmony with his feelings

harmony korine
Getting to grips with life: Writer and director Harmony Korine has been a key figure in independent cinema and art for the past decade

When Michael Jackson falls for Marilyn Monroe, she invites him to shack up with her, Little Red Riding Hood, Madonna and the Pope. Sounds like the start of a dirty joke, doesn't it? Actually, it's the premise of Mister Lonely, the latest movie from newly reformed American wild child auteur Harmony Korine.

It's a wacky romance that sees gentle Parisian Jacko impersonator (Diego Luna) ditch his lonely existence of boulevard busking and old folks' home gigs for a new life in a remote Scottish commune – entirely populated by fellow impersonators, including new friend 'Marilyn' (Samantha Morton). 'They are delusional, but I think they have a beautiful dream. A pure dream,' Korine tells me, dreamily. 'Sometimes the purest dreamers are the ones that get hurt most.'

It's hard to believe I'm talking to the same guy who, at the age of 19, wrote Kids (which was released three years later, in 1995). Korine's screenwriting debut, based on the true, meaningless, drug-fuelled, underage sex lives of shockingly young teens, starkly viewed childhood innocence during the Aids era as all but a sentimental myth.

Now 35, he's been through rehab and the tender, whimsical and sweet Mister Lonely is the surprising result. Creatively it feels like an indulgent, safe playground. Imagine Amy Winehouse ditches the drugs and records the Winnie The Pooh songbook. So, has this enfant terrible grown up – or regressed? 'Each of the films I've made reflects my mental state at the time,' he explains. 'Turning 30 wasn't a big thing for me; it was more like getting off the drugs. I had such a dark period in my life for eight or nine years. I didn't have any money, no place to live, no friends.'

Former girlfriend Chloë Sevigny has told how she left him over his heroin and methadone abuse. 'I didn't know if I was going to make another movie again – if I wanted to, or if I was capable of it. Then one day, I saw a small woman walking her invisible dog down the road. She told me it was time to make the movie. I took her word for it.'

Is he joking? It's hard to tell. Korine is no longer a child, but he's still ever the kidder. He takes things to such seriously bizarre extremes, the joke's often on him – whether it's a joke at all. There's dropping out of English at New York University after one term to become a professional tap dancer and the proposed adaptation of Ulysses starring Snoop Dogg. Then there's Fight, Harm, a movie where Korine says: 'I would walk around the streets and incite people to beat me up.

'My idea was to try and make a great American comedy, inspired by Buster Keaton's The General. A guy slips on a banana peel and cracks his head – it's funny, right? So I'd approach, say, a cab driver and smash his head in with a mandolin. But I forgot how short real fights are. I broke lots of bones and I just kept getting arrested. After my ninth fight, I spent two-and-a-half months in prison.'

Equally, it's hard to tell what the heck Mister Lonely is actually about. This is nothing new, as his undeniable low-budget masterpieces Gummo (1997) and Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) have already showed. Korine's non-sequential movies, with their freak-show characters and dreamy camera work, require a certain leap of faith by his followers as to this young auteur's genius. It's more the sense that his breathtaking personal vision 'works' as art, than anything more intellectual.

Take Mister Lonely. Some critics consider it to encapsulate the impossibility of establishing an authentic individuality in the new millennium; others think it is just profoundly silly. Korine couldn't care less: 'All I ever wanted to do with my movies is convey a certain feeling. An essence. Or a kind of ambience and tone. That's what I care about far more obviously than plot.'

So, is Korine saying Mister Lonely is a critique of our celebrity culture? dreams'I dunno,' he ponders. 'Interestingly, Little Red Riding Hood's character was originally Britney Spears. But then when we dressed her up it was like, man, she just looks like a normal slutty teenager! And I wanted these characters to be more like archetypes. It's not technically about Michael Jackson or any of the others – it's about the person that's impersonating them. It's about the person underneath.'

Ironically, this is where Korine himself hates to pry. I try exploring the concept and find it's toys-out-of-pram time. 'I don't really want to know why I do s*** to be honest with you. I don't see a shrink. I just want to live life. People often ask me for advice on how to get started making movies and I tell them to get into some kind of crazy illegal activity. Maybe rob a bank or something, because it tests you – and if you survive that, you have some good stories.' And I really don't think he's kidding. Beneath that dreamy surface, this enfant's still defiantly terrible.

Britney Spears walks into iron bar as she leaves store

Britney Spears (

Britney Spears

Britney Spears should steer clear of bars. Especially IRON bars.

The troubled pop princess, 26, ended up with a painful bump on the head as she walked straight into one as she left a store on Hollywood's Sunset Boulevard.

Britney's bodyguard watched helplessly as she ducked out of a rear exit to avoid fans and photographers - but failed to duck under a metal girder across the doorway.

Maybe it was the giant sunglasses, but apparently she just didn't see it. Britney was still rubbing her forehead as she was ushered to her car. She managed to force an embarrassed smile - but it was clearly one big hit she could have done without.

Britney Spears Bomb Fear After Packages From Stalker

BRITNEY Spears has been receiving disturbing packages from a stalker.

The troubled singer is said to have been concerned by the mail, including a letter detailing how to make bombs".

A source close to the singer said: "To be safe, her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI."

Brit was pictured out at the weekend with a burly security guard at her side.

Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan to work together on new film
Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are set to work together on new film ‘Good Girls Go Bad’, it has been claimed.

The troubled Toxic star and the Mean Girls actress have reportedly got the film’s director, Ian Shroder so worried about working with them both at the same time - he has put up his own insurance.

A source said: “They will star as rivals in the movie which will be set in New York and there’s lots of excitement about it.

“One producer told Ian it could be a potential disaster, but he laughed it off and said he was even willing to pay the insurance himself.”

Britney and Lindsay have both had their fair share of public breakdowns - with Spears checking into a psych ward and Lohan checking into rehab - but they both seem intent on socializing to the max.

The source added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Perhaps Lindsay could help Britney through her tough time.

“Both have been through a lot so their friendship can only blossom.

Meanwhile, Spears’ stalker has been sending her sex toys along with filthy pornographic notes, according to U.S. reports.

The star was feared to have a stalker after a series of letters were sent to her - some containing alarming descriptions of “how to bomb” and “weird gibberish” about the Middle East and Israel.

Now it has emerged that another package had a alarming sexual nature - and even contained a picture of a man who may be behind it all.

And alarmingly the alleged stalker also scrawled Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s names inside the packages, too.

“The first thing you see when you open the box is a huge, lavender-colored, battery-operated sex toy - still with the price tag on it,” a source said.

Alongside the sex toy were two letters - one handwritten and one written on a computer - both threatening and pornographic in nature.

“The handwritten one is on note paper and it’s written in a crazy, all-caps chicken scratch,” says the source.

The typed letter, meanwhile, is said to be five-pages long and contains vivid, pornographic details of the writer’s fantasy exploits with Britney.

Bizarrely, there is also a picture seemingly of the sender - a middle-aged white male with stringy, greasy hair - with the eyes cut out of the photo.

He also appears to be squirting some sort of yellowish liquid into his open mouth.

“It’s like something from a bad movie,” says the source. “If I hadn’t seen it myself, I wouldn’t believe it.”

Britney Spears' stalker has been sending her sex toys in the post, it has been claimed.

The troubled singer - who has also been receiving "threatening and pornographic" letters along with the X-rated gifts - has reportedly asked the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to stop the packages.

A source close to the 'Toxic' star told America's OK! magazine: "It started about six weeks ago with just letters being sent once a week. And then it quickly escalated to larger packages that now arrive two to three times a week - always to the same Los Angeles address, but never to one of Britney's homes.

"Along with the sex toy, there are two letters - one handwritten and one typed - both threatening and pornographic. The handwritten one is on note paper and it's written in a crazy, all-caps chicken scratch."

The source - who also revealed the notes contain intimate details about the writer's fantasies involving 26-year-old Britney - claims one of the packages contained a picture showing a middle-aged Caucasian man with greasy hair, believed to be the sender.

The source added: "The photo had its eyes cut out, and the man appears to be squirting some kind of yellow liquid into his open mouth. It's like something from a bad movie. If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't believe it."

LAPD spokesperson Ana Aguirre said no specific investigation had been launched yet, adding: "We have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months."

An FBI spokesperson also refused to comment on the allegations.

The Men in Britney Spears’ Life Hit the Links
No, we’re not referring to Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi.
Heck, if that were literally true, there’d be about 10 foursomes out there golfing on Sunday morning. But perhaps the two most important men in the long, strange trip that is Britney Spears’ life are apparently still on good terms.
Let’s just hope Britney doesn’t accuse K-Fed of sleeping with Jamie Spears, as she reportedly has - more than once - regarding mother Lynne.

A pudgy but happy Kevin Federline, in trademark long shorts, hits the links in Tarzana, Calif., this weekend with none other than Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears.
It’s good for K-Fed to get out of the house. Guy could use to lose a few pounds. We wonder who watched Jayden James and Sean Preston.
Lately, a recovering Britney Spears has enjoyed visitation with her two sons ever since a court hearing determined she was progressing well with her treatment.
FedEx has always been close with the ‘rents/in-laws, and is said to want Britney’s role in the kids’ life to increase, if anything. Stay tuned.

Britney Spears Flashes Knickers...And Wedding Rings?

Britney Spears set tongues wagging again at the weekend when she was snapped wearing not one but TWO rings on her wedding finger during a shoe-shopping trip.

And it wasn't just the mysterious rocks that she flashed at the hoards of paparazzi.

The singer also flashed ample amounts of flesh as she gave a master class in how not to get into a car.

After bumping her head on the door of the vehicle, Brit proceeded to expose her fetching green underwear as she made a dogs-dinner of getting into her seat.

he 'Believe' singer advised the troubled star to escape unwanted attention from photographers by planting a car bomb, as she was pursued by snappers herself.

When asked if she had a message for Britney, Cher said: "Yeah, she should blow you guys up with a car bomb!"

Cher, 61, isn't the only star to have words of advice for 'Toxic' star Britney.

Heidi Klum, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Brooke Shields and Britney's ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake have all offered to help get Britney back on the straight and narrow.

Britney Spears' Dad To Fight Custody Battle Legal Bills
Britney Spears’ dad is astounded at the amount of legal fees his daughter has accumulated in her custody fight with ex-husband Kevin Federline, and is planning to contest the $1.1 million (£550,000) invoice at a court hearing next month.

Having been appointed conservator of the pop wreck’s legal and financial affairs last month, as well as her estate, Jamie is shocked at the amount of money which has gone towards the bitter custody battle.

However, Papa Spears does not believe the attorney’s fees should be so high, and is disputing the $500,000 (£250,000) from Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, as well as more than $600,000 (£300,000) from Britney’s representatives Trope and Trope.

According to TMZ, Jamie has filed documents with Los Angeles Superior Court to challenge the invoice and is set to have a hearing on Monday, which is the same day Spears is due to face her ex in a child custody/visitation case.

Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan movie

Britney Spears

Lindsay Lohan

Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are in talks to appear alongside each other on the big screen, according to reports from the Rumour Mill.

And the name of the film? Wait for it - When Good Girls Go Bad. It’s not hard to see why director Ian Shroder has picked the two most famous party pals to star.

One insider said: ‘They will star as rivals in the movie, which will be set in New York, and there’s lots of excitement about it.’

But the potentially explosive combination has some producers shaking in their boots.

The insider added: ‘One producer told Ian it could be a potential disaster, but he laughed it off and said he was even willing to pay the insurance himself.’

Meanwhile, there’s more sinister news for Britney, as reports emerge that she is being targeted by a stalker.

The singer is said to have received threatening letters and packages in the mail, some of which reportedly contained DIY bomb-making instructions, and lewd pornographic notes.

Sources say the star is so concerned she has contacted the FBI.

One insider said: ‘It started about six weeks ago with just letters being sent once a week. And then it quickly escalated to larger packages that now arrive two to three times a week - always to the same LA address, but never to one of Britney’s homes.

‘The handwritten one is on note paper and it’s written in a crazy, all-caps chicken scratch.’

The stalker also seems to have sent a picture of himself. One package contained an image of a middle-aged white male ‘with stringy, greasy hair – and the eyes cut out of the photo.’

Random Loon Stalking Britney Spears, Sending Sex Toys
Britney Spears news and gossip rarely takes a break. But you can’t deny that it’s becoming weirder - and seemingly more bogus - of late.
As reported by OK! Magazine, the struggling bipolar babe has recently found herself on the receiving end of a mysterious, obsessed fan.
One who has been sending the star threatening packages. OK! claims to have the details of what has Britney’s inner circle and security team running to the FBI.
“It started about six weeks ago with just letters being sent once a week,” a source who has supposedly seen the packages reveals to OK!.
“And then it quickly escalated to larger packages that now arrive 2-3 times a week — always to the same L.A. address, but never to Britney’s homes.”
Perhaps this is what Jamie Spears and K-Fed were discussing on the golf course. Either way, it’s a good thing the boxes never made it to the singer’s door.
What’s inside could not be good for her mental state.
“The first thing you see when you open the box is a huge, lavender-colored, battery-operated sex toy, still with the price tag on it.”

Gee whiz. Someone done send me ma sex toy, y’all!!
Alongside the mechanical apparatus are two letters — one handwritten and one written on a computer — threatening and pornographic in nature.
“The handwritten one is on note paper and it’s written in a crazy, all-caps chicken scratch,” says the source, who says the five-page letter contains pornographic details of the writer’s fantasy exploits with Britney Spears.
NOTE: Is this loser watching music videos form like 2001 or something? No offense to Britney, but these days? Would you hit that? Come on.
NOTE #2: No offense, Adnan.
Perhaps the scariest item is picture of the sender (or just some dude) — a white, middle-aged male with stringy, greasy hair — with eyes cut out of the photo.
Oh, and it gets better, believe us. In the photo, the man appears to be squirting some sort of yellowish liquid into his open mouth. Lovely.
“It’s like something from a bad movie,” says the source. “If I hadn’t seen it myself, I wouldn’t believe it.”
“Insiders” tell OK! that the packages, which all come with a return address in the Minneapolis, Minn., area, are immediately handed over to Britney Spears‘ security team, who in turn hand them over to the FBI for review.

Spears and Lohan To Do "When Good Girls Go Bad"

Lorrie Ramirez - Celebrity News Service

Hollywood, CA (CNS) - Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, two of the most popular and most controversial celebrity teens are said to be collaborating in a new film, entitled "When Good Girls Go Bad."

The two actresses have reportedly made the film's director, Ian Shroder put up his own insurance.

"One producer told Ian it could be a potential disaster, but he laughed it off and said he was even willing to pay the insurance himself," says a film insider.

"They will star as rivals in the movie which will be set in New York and there's lots of excitement about it."

The source also intimated to Britain's Daily Star newspaper that "perhaps Lindsay could help Britney through her tough time."

Both Spears and Lohan have had their share of public breakdowns - Spears ending up in a psychiatric ward and Lohan in rehab.

Jordan McGuire designs Britney Spears' MySpace page

A MELBOURNE teenager has beaten thousands of computer nerds across the world to design singer Britney Spears's official MySpace page.

Jordan McGuire, 15, spent hours working on the layout, which Jive Records has uploaded on to the site.

The talented Montmorency Secondary College student heard about the competition through a friend and decided to give it a go.

"I have always liked graphics and I like Britney," he said, reluctantly admitting that he had a poster of her on his door.

"I think that it is really good that she is still singing when she has been getting so much criticism."

Jordan beat 28,135 Spears fans to take out the honour.

He's already received 100 accolades on the MySpace page, which is viewed by thousands daily.

"Kudos to Jordan," wrote Amy from Alaska.

Another Spears fan from West Hollywood wrote: "It definitely rocks! Congratulations Aussie dude!"

Jordan said although he knew the competition would be tough, he had always been confident because he liked the way his entry turned out.

Although he didn't win any money, he said the honour of designing such a popular page was reward enough.

"Most of my mates think it is pretty cool that I have won, but I have copped some flak from a few of them - probably the ones that don't like Britney," Jordan said.

"It is pretty amazing to think that people all over the world are looking at my page.",21985,23351583-5012974,00.html

Britney Spears asks for FBI protection
Washington (ANI): Beleaguered pop diva Britney Spears has turned to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for protection against an alleged stalker, who she said threatened to kill her. Britney requested the agency for protection after she reportedly received a number of letters, including one on how to make a bomb. Besides this, the singer was delivered several packages that contained sex toys, and notes on the Middle East and Israel.

"We have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months," Contactmusic quoted a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman, as saying. A FBI spokesman said: "We cannot comment on ongoing investigations."

Saving the World with Britney Spears

Britney Spears can teach us all a little something about ourselves. I am sure there are people that will deny this, but please, there's no denying it. Britney is you and you are Britney.

Until a few weeks ago, I considered myself a Britney casualist - I only casually cared about her. I held no animosity towards her, but passively ignored her. However, I'll admit I was bothered when Britney was all over the news on Jan. 4 when I was looking for television coverage on the Iowa caucuses and kept running into her. At the time, Britney was being rushed to a hospital. It bothered me that this was on CNN and MSNBC when I believed there was more important news developing inside and outside the United States. But maybe I was wrong; maybe Britney is important news. Bear with me for un minuto:

Perhaps American societies' fascination with the destruction of celebrities reflects something larger about our culture. We adore self-destructive men and women so much that tabloid and gossip magazines, which specialize in celebrity catastrophes, can be easily found in any supermarket, snuggled next to packs of gum, Readers Digests and TV Guides.

Looking beyond the silly headlines these 'zines' produce, I wonder what lies behind our fascination with stories of self-destruction. Why do people want to read about OJ Simpson's latest escapades, or Britney Spears' custody battle, or Keifer Sutherland's latest trouble with Johnny Law?

Perhaps it is because people enjoy watching other people suffer. Or perhaps it is that these stories externalize the reader's suffering.

No matter what the reason, one thing can be determined: we are all obsessed with destruction. The news is full of such stories. Global warming is destroying our planet; NAFTA (according to Democrats) is destroying parts of our American economy; immigrants (according to Republicans) are destroying America; gay marriage (according to many in both parties) is destroying the sanctity of heterosexual marriage. The list could go on and on.

Britney Spears stalker fears

Stalked by mail... Britney Spears.
ritney Spears has reportedly been receiving disturbing letters and packages from a stalker.

The troubled singer is said to have been so concerned by the mail, which included a letter detailing how to make bombs and another containing "threatening language and weird gibberish", she has handed all correspondence over to the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation).

A source close to the singer told E! Online: "A lot of the things she was receiving were disturbing stalker kind of stuff. So, to be safe, her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI."

While insiders claim the mail had been sent to various locations associated with mother-of-two Britney, Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Ana Aguirre said no specific investigation had been launched yet.

She added: "We have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months."

An FBI spokesperson also refused to comment on the allegations.

Meanwhile, Britney is paying her dad Jamie US$2500 ($2688) for every week he looks after her.

Jamie - whose co-conservatorship over his 26-year-old daughter was extended until July 31 - was also given the authority to use Britney’s funds to hire a car for her security team.

Britney is believed to be "doing well" following a turbulent few months during which she was hospitalised.

If she continues to improve Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz may consider dissolving the conservatorship before the scheduled July 31 end date.

A source said: "Is it possible she might make significant enough progress to get her life back in three or four months? Yes, and her dad would like nothing more than for that to happen."

Britney Spears' Dad Spends Quality Time with K-Fed!
Britney Spears' dad Jamie Spears has been a rock for the troubled pop tart for the past few months and is the primary reason why the 26-year-old mom has regained visitation rights with her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
On January 3rd Brit-Brit lost custody of her children when she was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a mental breakdown. Since then, her father has had complete control over the pop tart's life, as ruled by a judge.

But perhaps one of the reasons why Britney's father has been successful in getting custody back is because of his great relationship with Spears' ex husband Kevin Federline.

Kevin and Jamie were seen golfing together this weekend, sparking media attention and leading many to wonder whether Brit knew about their get together.

There's no doubt that, whether the singer was aware of her father's rendezvous with Federline or not, Jamie is only trying to help his daughter get her life back on track.

If spending some quality time with K-Fed is what he needs to ensure her ex that she's capable of raising her children, then more power to him.

We think Jamie Spears is the only thing keeping Brit from another mental breakdown.

Seeing Jamie and Kevin together can only mean good things for Spears.

"It made me want to do what she does. Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage, with everybody listening to you ... it's so cool when people look up to you. I've already been asked for my autograph and it's just a really good feeling to have."

Ali Lohan: Photo Credit: Nikki Nelson/ WENNThe ‘tween admires her famous sibling, and now she's ready to inspire others like Lilo does. The new TV show, like Lindsay's early hits will be a family program.

Lindsay LohanHopefully the younger Lohan can keep up a family-friendly lifestyle longer than Lilo did. The older girl's stints in rehab aren't enough to clean up her heavy-drinking, Britney-style revealing photos, and the rumours of heavy drug use.

Maybe one day Lindsay will know what it feels like to be inspired by her sister's success - but only if Ali can catch up without falling victim to Lilo's vices.

Later in the evening, the pair headed to LAX, where Benji chainsmoked the night away while keeping the PDA to a minimum with Paris. The most they did was hold hands.

Another week together. Defying expectations!

Ms. Hilton will test whether the Standard Model or her more advanced theory is correct. "I envision an eleven-dimension universe including two dimensions of space-time. The Higgs boson is there, I'm sure!

"Recently I had lunch with Stephen (Stephen Hawking) to discuss a joint paper we are writing on the multiverse and dark energy."

The paper with Dr. Hawking is to be published in German. "I find it easier to think about advanced physics in the German language for some reason" laughed Ms. Hilton.

Ms. Hilton holds several Masters and Doctorate degrees from Cambridge in advanced cosmology, engineering and particle physics. She is a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge. She is also fluent in German, Farsi, Sanskrit, Japanese, French, Hebrew Cantonese and Air Head.

Paris Hilton's Guru a Prank!

I cannot believe Ashton Kutcher is this smart. I have totally underestimated Demi’s wonder boy toy.

Apparently Paris Hilton’s new guru is actually an actor. She isn’t seeking spiritual enlightenment at all. It was just a prank on the Paparrazi put on by Ashton that Paris went along with (I am surprised she understood the stealthy plan to begin with. Ashton must be very good at speaking stupid).
Anyway, this guru’s real name is Maxie Santillan Jr. He’s been on CSI (what’s a girl gotta do to play a corpse on that show? Hello??) and My Name Is Earl. He was hired by Ashton for a new show called Pop Fiction. It airs this Sunday night and his marketing strategy is pure genius if you ask me. Who would have thought he was anything but good in bed? Some people surprise me, but I digress. The show is about playing pranks on the Paparazzi and other gullible media outlets. Basically, it’s a way for celebrities to get their revenge. Several high profile celebs are in on it. Ashton (smart manboy that he is) won’t say who. Ahhhh...the plot thickens.

Unlike Punk’d, Ashton won’t be jumping out at the end of the episodes laughing and pointing. He’ll let those involved find out with the rest of us “normal” schmucks. I’m sure he’ll be enjoying the aftershocks immensely while he massages his mom’s....oops...I mean wife’s feet.

Paris Hilton to star in My Name Is Earl

Heiress to appear in dream sequence

Paris Hilton is being lined-up to star in hit US show My Name Is Earl.

The heiress is expected to feature in a dream sequence, where she visits Earl, played by Jason Lee, 37.

'When we wrote the Paris role we weren't sure who to go with, then we found a little-known actress called Paris Hilton,' an insider tells the Daily Record.

Paris, 27, has already starred as a guest in several American series including The OC, Las Vegas and Veronica Mars.

My Name Is Earl is shown in the UK on Channel 4.

Paris Hilton Hits Sin City

For most of us, a trip to Las Vegas consists of saving money, planning travel accommodations, and asking for time off at work. But when Paris Hilton wants to party in Sin City she merely snaps her fingers.
The “Hottie and the Nottie” starlet was spotted at the Mirage Hotel and Casino last night for the grand opening of the Kim Vo Salon.

And she was dressed to impress, sporting a sliver and black party dress with a sequined jacket and matching black on black stockings and boots.
Earlier in the day, back in Los Angeles, the paparazzi caught up with Miss Hilton as she was grabbing some groceries and checking out the cover of InTouch Weekly, complete with a Lindsay Lohan cover story.

Loved-up Paris Hilton wears her heart on her ring finger
Since first stepping out together in February, Paris Hilton and her rocker boyfriend Benji Madden – the twin brother of Nicole Richie's love Joel – have been inseparable, frequently pictured hand in hand. On Friday the actress sparked further speculation about their whirlwind romance when she was pictured attending an event wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger bearing the initials BM.

Attending the Las Vegas opening of a new salon in the Mirage Hotel – without her Good Charlotte guitarist beau - the 27-year-old cryptically replied: "It means exactly what it means" when asked whether the ring signfied the two were heading down the aisle.

Socialite Paris - who is reported to have already met Benji's mum - ensured it wasn't just the diamonds in her ring that sparkled however. The Simple Life star arrived at the event in a silver sequinned bolero.
